I went here with some co workers for an after work mixer, and it was great. The service was great. The food was good, and their happy hour prices were on par as well. I would gladly come here again. I hear they have a rooftop, but it was raining. That's something else to look forward to.

Amazing Whiskey Sour. Had the brussel sprouts, burger, hummus, and buffalo chicken mac and cheese. It was all fantastic and the service was also excellent!!

Went for lunch and dinner with a group of coworkers. Lunch experience was great. Molly, our server, was friendly, attentive, helpful and quick about getting our order in and our food out because we had a limited time. She kept our water glasses full (which was important cuz of the heat). The lunch we had was delicious and the location of our table delightful. So kudos and 5 stars to Molly!
Here’s why I’m only giving 3 stars: we came back to same night for dinner. Our server, Scott, told us he was training another server, which gave us the impression that he must be a good server.
This did not prove true. He served my colleague a flat beer. When my colleague told him it was flat, he just made excuses for why it was flat but never once made the offer to give him something else. When my colleagues wanted to know more about the whiskey flights, Scott offered no help and admitted to having no intel on the whiskey (which is unacceptable at a place that boasts having whiskey tastings). When my other colleague ordered the steak, Scott left to put our orders in, and then came back a few mins later to tell us they were out of steak. So my coworker had to order something else. He ordered a burger, and asked if he could get onion rings instead of fries (because they came with the steak). Scott immediately said, sorry can’t sub.
His trainee checked on us more times than he did, which is the only reason we didn’t go without water or flatware to eat with.
Where we were seated the floors were so sticky that my colleagues couldn’t move their chairs. So we ended up having to move the table to let them sit/stand.
The food we ordered was way overcooked (three of us got the green tomato grilled cheese and the bread and bacon was charred). It was late and we weren’t going to wait around for them to make us something else. So we ate and got out of there as quick as we could.
The place is decorated well and does have a cool vibe. But they need to evaluate/train their staff better and make sure things are clean (especially the floors).

This place started off great. Several years later they don't care. They don't care enough to plant a flower in those pots or garden in front of restaurant. They don't care to clean the glass on the entry doors or behind cash register. Same female bartender never cares to ask if you need anything. Won't be long before they close

The nachos with street corn dip was excellent. Salads were nice. The spicy tequila cocktail was great too.
Appetizers were good. Ordered a chicken Cesar salad. $13 for the salad and $7.00 for chicken. Fine. Comes out completely dry without dressing. Ask nicely for dressing. 20 minutes later ask a different server. Finally get a thimble full of dressing. No big deal. Bill comes Add $.50 for dressing / Manager discount $.50
Is dressing not included? Was not looking for anything but an hey sorry we are busy or short handed or we normally serve salads without dressing?????

We’ve been coming to the original Brick & Brew in Havertown since before the other locations even existed, and it still holds a special place in our hearts. It was our very first introduction to a gastropub several years ago—and after that first visit, we never looked back.
What keeps us coming back week after week is their ever-changing menu. They’re constantly coming up with new dishes, and they’ve never disappointed us. The creativity in the kitchen is incredible, and somehow they manage to balance bold flavors with perfect execution every single time.
Their award-winning whiskey sour deserves all the praise—it’s seriously one of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. Whether you’re going for a drink or a full meal, the food and the service are consistently top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
Brick & Brew isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. Amazing food, outstanding drinks, and great people. Havertown’s original location will always be our favorite.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! After passing by Brick & Brew countless times, I finally gave it a try on a colleague's recommendation-and I'm so glad I did. The service was outstanding, the food absolutely delicious!
There’s only one thing stopping me from giving you guys five stars - please fix your fried chicken sandwich!! I went here with my partner and we both had excellent food and drinks, but in hindsight I should’ve ordered something else for my main because the chicken sandwich was pitiful. It’s not any of the servers’ faults, they were all lovely! I was just disappointed because the chicken was so dry, thin, and lacking in breading I asked if they had mistakenly given me a fish sandwich. they sent another over to me and it was the same :( please buy better quality chicken or something because I haven’t had a bad chicken sandwich from any other restaurant and I want to like the one you serve!
Always a great time at Brick & Brew. Bartenders are very friendly! Food is awesome!
The food and atmosphere at brick n brew is amazing. Unfortunately my family had to ask for ice water 4 times before it was brought to us. Totally understand that staff is busy but this was not great service. I got the steak frites (which were really really good), but they are served on a flat wooden platter. When the waitress was placing my meal on the table the juice from the steak spilled on my jeans. I don’t think the waitress even noticed and I didn’t want to embarrass her. These jeans aren’t that important to me but in the future the waitresses should be advised to carefully place this meal on the table without spilling on guests 🥲 or change how it’s plated.
