This was our first time dining at Brick & Brew. It was a great experience. First, the atmosphere is very cozy. Next, the food was delicious. At our table of four, we had the Bavarian pretzel sticks, cheese pizza, meatloaf, grilled chicken grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough, and smoked pork sandwich. The sandwiches were served with thin, crispy French fries. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. There’s a full bar and they also serve Coke products. We were too full to take advantage of the dessert menu. Our server was Caitlin M. She was very friendly and attentive. As we were leaving, there was a musician setting up for live music.

I would always drive pass this place and never went in until last night . Wanting to get out the house on a Friday night in the search of a great atmosphere with food and drinks this place came to mind so why not check it out . Upon arrival I didn’t know what to expect. Me wearing sweatpants just a casual night. The moment I walked in I felt comfortable. Me and my husband sat at the bar and ordered food and drinks. He was happy because they had large tvs around so he would watch his sports which was great. The drinks were amazing. I had a old fashion then later a espresso martini . Both drinks are top tier and worth the money . Oh and the bang bang shrimp were really good !
As I’m typing this I’m actually on my way back there now :) I believe i have found my new chill spot with great drinks .

Thursday night dinner celebration for 2. My sister had pepperoni pizza and I had southwest salad with grilled chicken. My salad was delicious: pretty presentation, perfectly dressed and a nicely balanced bowl.
There was a nice crowd in there on Thursday night, but there was no delay for service. The plan was to go over to Kelly music for the Irish traditional session after.

Great local joint with cozy decor and friendly staff. It’s a local favorite. Post pandemic Brick and Brew has really seemed to struggle to get good servers. It can take a long time to get your food (recently it was 45 minutes) and the staff don't really check in on you to clear drinks or get you new drinks while you wait. The atmosphere is inviting but it can get very loud in the main dining area by the bar. Best to show up and be prepared to wait and relax, which may or may not work with kiddos. They also don't take reservations, so it can be a little dicey to get a table due to wait times. The menu rotates but the food is consistently reliable and the skillets and specials are always a favorite!

This place is so close to my sister's house we really wanted to love it. The place was pretty empty on a Sunday around 4 so we had no trouble being seated. We all were surprised how still and warm it felt inside. Felt like there was no AC/no air movement. The place is decorated really fun with lots of moss on the ceiling and nice faux marble table tops. We did notice our shoes were sticking to the floor as we walked through the place. Strange. My husband got a meatball pizza with vodka sauce. It tasted like a mediocre meatball pizza. The sauce didn't look like a vodka sauce, just a regular marinara sauce. He thought it was just ok. I tried a bite, and agreed. I ordered the shaved Brussels sprout Caesar with salmon on top. The salad arrived, and I had to ask the server why there were no Brussels sprouts. She explained that they shaved them so tiny that you had to really hunt for them. Ummm?!? It was a small romaine Cesar salad with croutons from a box and an ok dressing. For a base price of $15 or $16 (can't remember which) plus $10 for the added salmon. My 26 dollar salad was pretty sad. If you are going to advertise the salad as being shaved Brussels, maybe put in enough that you can see them? Also, I wasn't asked how I'd like the salmon cooked (temperature), and it was sadly overcooked. Drinks were ok. Not a great experience. I doubt we will ever return. It was just mediocre at best.

Okay first I need to ask them to expand that food menu just a wee bit.
Then I'm going to ask management to reverse a couple things that they have done with the place, ready? Please use the vault as a seating area please please please. I don't know about anybody else but I've been in downtown Philadelphia and some of the best places I've been at were on roofs, thank you very much for putting yours in, and vaults.
I'm sorry, do your own research, move the stairs and put in seating.
You might have to start taking reservations......
P.S. Great Bartenders (Rory)!!!

I live close and decided to go here for a Saturday night dinner. Party of 2 got in within 10 mins! Server was sweet and YALL. the food was SO GOOD. We got the strawberry apple salad, blackened mahi mahi lettuce wraps, and crème brûlée for dessert. Definitely one of the better dinners I have had in a while! Totally would recommend.
