We’ve been coming to the original Brick & Brew in Havertown since before the other locations even existed, and it still holds a special place in our hearts. It was our very first introduction to a gastropub several years ago—and after that first visit, we never looked back.
What keeps us coming back week after week is their ever-changing menu. They’re constantly coming up with new dishes, and they’ve never disappointed us. The creativity in the kitchen is incredible, and somehow they manage to balance bold flavors with perfect execution every single time.
Their award-winning whiskey sour deserves all the praise—it’s seriously one of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. Whether you’re going for a drink or a full meal, the food and the service are consistently top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
Brick & Brew isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. Amazing food, outstanding drinks, and great people. Havertown’s original location will always be our favorite.

There’s only one thing stopping me from giving you guys five stars - please fix your fried chicken sandwich!! I went here with my partner and we both had excellent food and drinks, but in hindsight I should’ve ordered something else for my main because the chicken sandwich was pitiful. It’s not any of the servers’ faults, they were all lovely! I was just disappointed because the chicken was so dry, thin, and lacking in breading I asked if they had mistakenly given me a fish sandwich. they sent another over to me and it was the same :( please buy better quality chicken or something because I haven’t had a bad chicken sandwich from any other restaurant and I want to like the one you serve!

The food and atmosphere at brick n brew is amazing. Unfortunately my family had to ask for ice water 4 times before it was brought to us. Totally understand that staff is busy but this was not great service. I got the steak frites (which were really really good), but they are served on a flat wooden platter. When the waitress was placing my meal on the table the juice from the steak spilled on my jeans. I don’t think the waitress even noticed and I didn’t want to embarrass her. These jeans aren’t that important to me but in the future the waitresses should be advised to carefully place this meal on the table without spilling on guests 🥲 or change how it’s plated.

Great experience! I had a burger and fries! 🤌🏽 Delicious. The burger was seasoned and the fries were fresh and piping hot. My husband had wings and fries. I enjoyed my cocktail, Sprig & Stave. I will definitley be returning. The only challenge may be parking.

Food and drinks were great and I cannot express enough how incredible the quality was. However our server was either new or not aware of how food service works. We didn't have napkins, when asked about having water took way too long. We kept having to ask for things. I removed our own glasses for our table and put them on the bar so we had room after our server came to our table. We shouldn't have to ask to remove the empty glasses or plates. Food runners and drink runners were great.

We sat upstairs Friday night on the second floor overlooking the restaurant. It was a very nice atmosphere and the service was great. He helped us pick up some drinks and an appetizer. Would recommend
Good but we are disappointed. Food was not as good as it has been before. Just lacking flavor. Portions for the price point was very lack luster. Just not enough food or flavor for the price. Decor and service was great.

I’m writing on behalf of my daughter and her boyfriend. They went in to this location to get something to eat and a drink or two. Instead, my 22 year old daughter was humiliated when she was turned away because the management insisted her ID was a fake. I almost wish the ID was taken from her so they would be the ones humiliated when I would have insisted they pay for a replacement. I can assure you that she is of age, and I can also assure you they won’t be back.
