We were in the area and hungry, and this place showed up as a top rated spot in Havertown, so we went. The ambience itself is fine... adequate. The service was fine too, the waitstaff was friendly and checked on us adequately.
The food was... disappointing. We got standard diner fare - eggs Benedict and club sandwich.
The eggs Benedict - while the eggs were cooked fine, the hollandaise sauce lacked any flavor. But the worst part was the English muffin and bacon. Both of them were super dry either because of overcooking or because they were likely stored in the fridge too long. Either way, it was hard to cut then with a knife and fork. The home fries that came a side were also dry... surprising because it is hard to mess up fries.
My wife's club sandwich was kind of the same. Chicken was low on any flavor even salt and pepper and the bread was doused in mayo.
Overall, a disappointing meal. At almost $45 for two people, I'd have excepted a lot better. However, the service staff were friendly and nice so I give them an extra star.

Truly one of the gems of Havertown. I had fond memories of going to Hanne’s (the breakfast nook located in this storefront when I was growing up), and when Hanne’s closed, I was so sad thinking that my children would never have the experience of frequenting a regular breakfast spot where they were welcomed and known and well fed. But Havertown Grille has become that spot for our family! My children are delighted knowing that their special order is delivered to the table when they arrive, before they even have to ask. In a world with chain restaurants and high employee turnover, how lucky are we to live in walkable Havertown near a local breakfast spot with great food and small town Delco hospitality? Make Havertown Grille your family’s go-to. You won’t regret it.

This is a hidden jem in Havertown. Im always looking for breakfast spots. It's a small cozy place with really good food. The prices are in line with you would expect to pay. A uber eats driver told me about it and decided to take my son for one of outings. He liked the silver dollar pancakes and bacon. Staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. We have been twice in the past month and it slowly turning into my favorite breakfast spot around here

It is with a sad heart that we will not come back to this restaurant ever again. We have been dining here for brunch since the past 5-10 years. The manager never smiles at us, acknowledges our family or makes eye contact, when he very much interacts with the other customers. He skips our table EVERY SINGLE time and takes orders of customers who have come after us. There are other wait staff that work there that are delightful and nice. The food is okay too. This review is about the management. I have given the benefit of the doubt for years now, but today will be our last time coming. Today's service was again unwelcoming from the manager. There is most definitely a racist vibe here and the mistake we made was to stop coming here sooner. This is my very first time writing such a negative review.

My husband and I came to the city to celebrate his bday. We are from VA! My nephew recommended Havertown Grill for a great breakfast spot! He was not lying! My husband said the fries were made with potatoes from heaven, lol. I had the brioche bacon/egg/cheese/avocado sandwich. Amazing. For a medium size eatery the service was excellent! Servers attentive and friendly! The manager on 1/22 at 12:00 introduced himself and wanted to know if we enjoyed everything. (Can’t remember his name) We raved about our experience and I told him I was a big google review person and Havertown Grill was get 100 stars ⭐️!!We will be back next time we visit Philly! We love breakfast spots so finding this gem was fun and our belly’s were full rest of day! Thanks for the hospitality guys! Keep the fires burning you got something special there…

Nice people but my order was wrong . I was confused about the total, got home and realized not only does this place charge extra for literally every little item but my order was taken incorrectly. Also asked for well done turkey bacon & it was limp & looked barely cooked. Too expensive to be inattentive to customer’s orders

It’s perfect place have breakfast. The chef was spot on, no need fir salt or pepper. Breakfast ham was done correctly. Coffee is good n balanced taste. Little more pricey but in my humble opinion, it’s worth it. You can save by going another breakfast stop, real close. But what you get is blamed and under spice or improper spice used. There huge difference in chef n kitchen staff. I rather go to Havertown Grill, then other place start with N. This tells me franchise does know restaurant trade or can’t hire correctly. Most of all, chef ( that Stretching it a bit) more like a beginner who does taste what they serve or don’t care. There no comparison between the two, everytiime I would go with Havertown Grill, little more but you get so much with tiny bit more. Keep up the great food n service!
