A last-minute choice for breakfast. The food selections were plentiful. The service was excellent. 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and rye toast. A kettle omelet included mashed potatoes(YES), cheese, bacon, home fries and sausage links.

Miss the old kettle! Never been the same since it got sold. Will have to pass and find some other place. Cannot keep taking on more disappointment. You need to hire more staff, do better, and be more consistent with food. Prices are crazy high too! Nudys is where I go now!

We were surprised that half of the place was empty on Saturday around noon, but then we realized why. The service was pretty bad, we had to ask for cutlery twice even after the food was served. The server forgot part of the order (we were only 2) and the dishes looked so unappealing. I think the breakfast sandwich from Wawa is better than what was served here.

We hadn't been to Kettle in a few years and decided to go this morning. I had known it was under new ownership, but didn't know the details. I was surprised how much it lacked personality and coziness. The last time I was there I remember it having a homey feel.
The food was great, but a little on the luke warm side. I also realize prices have gone up, but the price to ratio of bacon at restaurants is crazy. $4 for 3 small pieces.
Like another customer said, the service was cordial at best. As I mentioned earlier, I miss the former friendliness and homeyness of the place and service.

Walked in at 8am with my wife for breakfast. One other couple was in there and the server told us to sit at a two seater table next to the window right behind them. It was freezing that day and cold by the window so I asked to sit elsewhere…we were rudely told no as the “other tables were reserved for others that might come in after us”. We walked out and went to Nudy’s which was great. I’ll never go back here again, unfortunately

It honestly pains me to write this review, because Kettle was our go-to Saturday breakfast spot for years. We went usually twice a month. The original team of servers were simply the best, and even though we will never know the true Hollywood story of what happened, after new ownership took over last year and we eventually heard that our two favorite servers abruptly left (after being there for a bit and continuing to serve us), we felt like something was off and we actually ran into someone we used to see at Kettle quite often, and they said it just wasn't the same anymore. Now, we recently found out that there are even NEWER owners. We decided what the heck, lets try it out again. We sadly left disappointed. Service wasn't the same, food wasn't the same, vibe wasn't the same. The service was cordial at best, when it used to be like you were welcomed into an old friend's home, with coffee being poured before you even sat down and our server jokingly yelling at us for switching up our order and throwing her for a loop. My husband's omelet, according to him, wasn't as good. What was most interesting, though, is that we used to see a lot of the same faces almost every time we went, and this last time we didn't recognize a single soul. Makes us wonder if most of the old regulars stopped going as well. Definitely a bummer!
Came here for lunch today, food was delicious - I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was great. The chicken was brilliant. Staff were lovely too. Highly recommend!!!
