Garbage, low quality food. Everything is made from low grade ingredients. The grilled romaine salad tastes like propane. Pasta is NOT homemade. Sauces are made with very bad quality meat, fish was simply mushy and disgusting. Save your money. Save your time. This place should be closed. Awful, awful experience. NEVER again..

Simply wondrous! From the attentive, well versed staff to the impeccable presentation of wondrous appetizers and entrees in just the right timeline ... L'angolo provides the space for an evening of delight! The accoutics work well as you can actually have a conversation without effort! This hidden gem in downtown Havertown is so worth making a reservation for! Thanks for the difference you make, everyday!

The Chicken Parmigiana & pasta Bolognese are absolutely delicious. BYOB a nice Italian wine & you have a FANTASTIC evening.

I'm surprised this restaurant has such a high rating. I was with a party of four and not one of us liked our meals. Mine wasn't just mediocre, it was flat out bad. Service wasn't great either. You'd think seeing all four guests barely eating half of what they ordered might elicit a server's concern. It didn't. The 2 stars are for the ambiance and the burratta.

Dinner there last night to celebrate my Dads 98th birthday. Our group was large but not demanding. The food was good. The reason for 3 stars is the staff are rude for the most part. I brought a cake and the restaurant manager (I think) could only say there was a charge per plate to serve it. Our waiter for the meal was the rudest I've experienced in a long time. Not in a hurry to rush back. The younger support staff were fine.

Adorable place and amazing food. It took a while because there weren't many people working and the place was packed but the food was well worth the wait. Authentic Italian at reasonable prices. Also a BYOB. Its a win!

I did not enjoy my meal here. The chicken had gristles and all of my food was drowning in olive oil. I was unable to take a bite that was not completely covered in olive oil. The atmosphere was pleasant.

I have wanted to try this restaurant for sometime because I have enjoyed their South Philly location several times. I made a reservation last Thursday for a party of 8. Our shared appetizers came out in timely manner and were very good. Then the big delay came, waited over 45 minuets for entrees! It also took almost 10 minuets from the time the first entrees came to the last. The restaurant only had 4 tables seated? With the exception of 2 of us that had the rigatoni w/shrimp,(rigatoni was very hard, shrimp dried out )everyone was content with their meal.

Very quiet here on the Sunday before New Year's Eve. Specials are special in both the L'angolo restaurants, and my burrata cheese appetizer special, wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of lettuce (iirc!), was delicious. As was the swordfish special ($28), served with calamari and grilled shrimp atop a grid of sautéed potato slices and green beans (although another of our diners thought it a bit oily). I shared the burrata with my wife, and still could eat only half the big swordfish entrée. The remaining portion made a nice supper on New Year's Eve. Others in our group had ravioli with sausage, which looked mouth-watering and I realized neither of them offered any tastes around! A terrific dinner helped our group to a very pleasant evening together. Attentive, high-quality service helped, too.

Disappointed with l'Angolo west. Service extremely slow. Waiting for appetizer and even longer for entree's. The food was very good. Atmosphere very noisy. Having had many years of consistently great service and food at L'Angolo in Philadelphia. It's worth the drive from western main line

I'll order the specials anytime! Home made pasta and seafood and baratta appetizer. This place would get a 5star but the noise! Over stimulating. I'll take it tho.

Bread and dipping sauce were excellent. Calamari was so tender. Service was great...So, why two stars? My entree (rigatoni with pancetta) was a little salty but all around good. My companion's fettuccini with clams was inedibly salty. I had a bite and almost had a stroke because it was so salty. We complained and she ordered spaghetti with bolognese sauce. Spaghetti was good but you will not believe it, they charged us for the fettuccine and the spaghetti!!!! Beyond my understanding...why is it so hard to find a good Italian place on the mainline?
