This area is blessed for high quality pizza options. I've made it a mission to try every one within a few miles, and for my money Julie's has the best pizzas by far, if you're willing to step slightly outside of standard domestic fare. Strong topping-derived flavor, a crust that makes itself known without overwhelming the other elements, and the perfect ratios of sauce and cheese.
If you're mostly looking for a crisp, buttery dough to be the dominant flavor, check out Crust about a mile north of here in Haverford. If you want am excellent typical American supreme in the standard quasi-Chicago, quasi-New York style, Drexil Hill Pizza and Grill is a good choice (or Bravos at the shopping center if you're uninterested in driving a town over for 'za). But if you want a pizza so good that the last bite is as nice as the first, Julie's is the place to go. It's underappreciated, too, so wait times are brief.

I ordered a Margherita Pizza and Chicken Tenders on a random day of the week because I've exhausted every other terrible pizza place in Drexel Hill, Springfield, and Upper Darby. I thought it would be more of the same but I was very wrong. The Pizza was excellent and the tenders were actual giant chicken cutlets.! Wonderful job and the ladies working were awesome.

I was just passing through this part of PA. First time here, and I decided to take a chance on Julie's Pizza. This place is authentic and has great pizza, but what really sold me was the empanadas. They capture that Peruvian/Argentine taste. I really recommend checking this place out for the Latinos/Hispanics out there. They serve Mexican dishes and have great options. And the bonus is everything is cooked fresh and made to order. Nothing stored. Julie prepares everything authentic.

This place was super good. Me and my boyfriend just said let’s try this place. Mexi pizza is amazing the Mexican pizza, carnita/ chorizo combo so good, or even amazing. The service was amazing, it was nice seeing the pizza, meats and everything cooked in front. Definitely will come back again.

Mexipizza(now called Julie's Pizza) has the best tacos in Havertown. They have an expansive menu; but, allow me to repeat, they have the best tacos in Havertown. I really recommend the marinated pork tacos. They explode with taste and come with a few poblano straps to add, if you wish. Their two salsas that accompany the tacos are well done: roja for more savory spice and verde for more fresh citrus. This is the definition of a hidden gem...don't be put off by the weird name.

My family ordered from Mexipizza while in town for a wedding and were so happy we did. We were intrigued by the name because some of us wanted Mexican and some wanted pizza. Both were great! The guacamole was fresh, the pizza was delicious, the enchiladas were great and serving size was huge! The people working there were also incredibly kind. If we are ever back in the area we will be back!
