When i think of a pub i think of friends , grog, and good people. This place has an unspoken love of family , friends, and America. Long Live the Oakmont Pub

The food runners are great! Love the salads! Give a raise to whoever makes those salads

Nice patio for outdoor dining. Friendly service.

I was kind of surprised that the reviews aren't better for this place. To begin, the space is a lovely ex-bank with soaring windows. Staff was friendly, knew the menu and paced our lunch perfectly. Buffalo wings were hot, crispy and served with excellent chunky blue cheese dressing (as opposed to the watery industrial stuff so often seen.) I had a special, soft shelled crab sandwich with remoulade.. two delicately floured and perfectly fried crustaceans on a fresh brioche roll that held up well. Fries were nothing special, but hot and well-crafted.. just not knock-out. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp salad.. 6 plump and juicy shrimp over spring mix with a balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese. There is an ample selection of craft beers and ciders. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Will definitely return to try other dishes.

The food is good, we've never had a bad experience with it but we've never had anything to wow us either. I was a little disappointed in the beer selection since it's a pub. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Just stopped here for my birthday. Wanted to thank the server and staff for a good time. Service was a little slow but the food and beer selection was delicious. Food order: cheese steak, blue cheese burger, Ruben. Great job guys.

Nice and quiet during the day. Very nice if you and another (2-3) people are catching up. Never went at night, food is amazing.

Disappointing! Great wait staff but the food could not have been worse! Oakmont National was referred to me as a great restaurant with a wonderful fun atmosphere. We visited saturday, September 20, 2014 at 9:15PM. The bar had many TVs with different sports games; it was loud and a younger crowd. We sat outside with a view of the WAWA convenience store and a bus stop. The building is quit nice and well kept. The wait staff was happy, nice and professional. The disappointment was the food! We ordered waters delivered in plastic cafeteria cups. It was late so we ordered onion soup, a simple medium rare burger and a chicken quesadilla. 2 mistakes!! The onion soup broth was ok but we found nary 3 pieces of onion under the cheese. The burger looked good but was extremely well done and flavorless. The biggest disappointment was the horrible quesadilla with dry chicken, veggies and no cheese. We won't be going back unless its for a beer and a game. They can keep their food!

Ordered a few apps which were good. Had a burger for dinner, cooked medium. It was dry and would never order again. Fries were so so, I will try again and order something else off of menu.

The beer is always cold and the music is always playing. Other than that there is much left to be desired on the food and atmosphere side.

I come here every year for the home brewer competition, and this year actually decided to try some food as well. First we tried a bunch of deep fried bar food, mozzarella sticks et al. They were all standard and tasty. For dinner I got a quesadilla. I was horrified to find that they throw in a s*** ton of black olives which was a serious bummer. But I was hungry so I got to work picking those bitches out, and I was left with a pretty good, albeit tainted quesadilla. My man got this seafood stew thing which he really enjoyed. It would remind one of a cioppino type situation. But don't get too excited, as it was a special. The best aspect of Oakmont is definitely the beer. They had Dogfish 90 on tap when I was there, which pretty much made my weekend/life. I recommend this spot, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to get back.

You will feel at home when you walk in. Most of their employees have been there for MANY years. They make accommodations for any one and you will enjoy your time spent. Its nice to have a meal that is not lathered in butter. Chicken Stir Fry Blackend steak salad Chicken cheese steaks Awesome Bartenders Great environment great food Wide variety of beers on draft (you can tell they clean their lines) Premium wine on draft 80's music playing True Patriots!

Anytime I'm in havertown I look forward to coming here. Friendly staff, good food & drinks, laid back atmosphere. Truly a neighborhood pub.

Decent pub food nothing out of this world or special signature dishes. Great beer selections on tap and bottles.

Nice place, has a nice outside patio, along with an upstairs. Their menu is good & not pricey at all, highly recommend the Chicken Quesadilla's, they say it's an appetizer, but it's full size & very tasty. Parking can be tough, they only have a small parking lot, but I never had a problem finding parking. Very good prices for wine, beer & liquor. The staff is always friendly, be it the bartenders or the waitresses. The customers are also friendly. Nice hardwood floors, along with a very nice bar. I've always had a good experience whenever I went there.
