Wonderful local bakery! It was a Sunday afternoon and we got to chat with the owner, she showed off the cute decor in the bathroom. It even had a small table that could be for diaper changing or just putting your bag down. So thoughtful.As for the food - she helped us pick a lovely assortment to celebrate my mom's birthday. Chocolate trifle with mousse in a perfect serving size cup, lemon cupcake, cannoli cupcake with real mascarpone cream. The ricotta cookies and coconut macaroons were my favorite!Definitely will be returning.Kid-friendliness: Family sized bathroom has a small table that could be for diaper changing or putting a bag down.

Sweets on Darby is a delicious neighborhood gem! Live their regular rotating menu along with their seasonal items. Personal favorites are the donuts, cookies, brownies, and loaf cakes. My family and I devoured the oversized heart cookie cake we got yesterday. And they have a rewards program!
Gina makes the BEST rosemary cheddar scones you will ever find! All the treats in the shop are so tasty and baked with love, but the scones are outstanding! Gina and her staff are so sweet and friendly, that the “Sweets” of their Sweets on Darby name refers as much to the people as it does to the delightful pastries she bakes. Such a cute inviting shop with an amazing staff and delicious treats all wrapped up in one place❤️❤️

This place is extremely underrated! They made us 3 cakes leading up to our wedding-- maple, rosemary lemon and raspberry almond. They were able to accommodate our dairy-free needs. They were friendly, personable, humble, kind, generous and just an absolute pleasure to work with.My husband picked an image of a wintery cake off pinterest, and they nailed it!!!! Everyone comme Ted about how good it was.I think Sweets on Darby is our little secret for an amazing bakery in Delaware County. I will be going there for all my baking needs because I completely trust and believe in them!Oh p.s. the individual cakes for birthdays, valentines day, etc. Is a really nice bonus! I buy these often and they're so perfect.
