I just discovered this place today. My new favorite place. Wonderful music, wonderful ambience, wonderful chai.

Kacie created such a wonderful atmosphere for our company book club! She was incredibly responsive and made planning our next meeting so easy. The Bookery is a true gem in Havertown, and we’re already looking forward to our next gathering!

Cute shop with a large selection! Also came here during an event, but all the tables were full. Two of the women in charge noticed us standing, and went to get a table and chairs for us without us even asking. So kind 😭💕

The ambience is super cute & cozy & the workers were nice. The place is very small but well designed, however the coffee doesn’t have a good flavor to it, I could barely taste any coffee flavor. It tasted watered down to me although the color of my drink was dark enough. I recommend investing in a different espresso. I would definitely come back if the coffee becomes better.

I initially visited the bookery when they first opened. I loved the experience and atmosphere so I recommended to my friends that we go there.
When we came there wasn’t anything initially off with the experience, until we went to order our coffees. At first I was glancing at the books trusting that I wouldn’t witness blatant racism until I hear the attitude and behavior coming from the barista. I then come to stand behind my friend and suddenly the barista is nicer and can explain to my friend kindly what her drink has in it.
After this visit my other friend gave the store the benefit of the doubt and decides to go with her mom. When they went in she said the atmosphere was off entirely. My friend and her mom who is also a black woman proceeded to get rude and worse behavior than the white customers in-front of them in line. The customer service was poor, un expectable, and blatantly racist.
I expected more from this establishment.
Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Adorable coffee shop inside a bookstore with a plant store. Lots of great coffee options and flavors. Wonderful friendly staff. Lovely environment. I had the lavender vanilla latte that was great.

This place is amazing. Such an amazing atmosphere and a true value addition to Brookline Blvd and the community. It is attached to a plant store directly next store that is whimsical and chock full of plants, gifts, and goodies. Everyone is so friendly and the menu is perfect. I hope they keep expanding their footprint along the blvd and it continues to flourish as the potential for the street as a whole is amazing. Thank you for being here and servicing our community!

Cute atmosphere, especially for the book and plant lover; however, the iced latte I got was undrinkable and tasted like watered down cinnamon milk. I also would not recommend if you are hungry because there weren’t any food options other than packaged snacks. Has potential to be amazing, but needs a lot of improvements to be made to get there.

Very cute coffee shop! The atmosphere was really good. The coffee was lackluster due to use of prepackaged espresso pods, and not freshly ground espresso beans.

Welcoming staff. Phenomenal coffee. Vast book inventory. Warm, inviting, fun - such a pleasure. Easy parking, cozy quarters, nice spot to hang out with friends, and/or meet other fellow book and coffee lovers.

Ordered vanilla coffee with pistachio cold foam. Nom!! Delicious. Superb job to the owner(s) and staff.
