We went during an eagles game. So we knew it would be a rowdy atmosphere. We took our son and his chicken fingers were undercooked so we sent them back. The server could not be nicer an apologetic about it. We were in the main front room. It was a passionate crowd cursing a bit which is understandable. However a fan came out from the back room dropping f bombs so loudly and repeatedly that it would annoy anyone. He saw our 8 year old and just didn't care. We ended up taking...
The fish and chips and the roast beef sandwich did not disappoint. They also have great coleslaw. This was a great place. A little loud but that is to be expected at a sports bar. We will be visiting again.
Our grade school class (1969!) gets together for lunch twice a year. We’ve been to The Yard twice now and each time was just perfect. We went yesterday and had the entire outside area to ourselves. Cecelia was our server and somehow managed to keep 25 people happy for 3 hours! We had an assortment of food and everything I sampled was delicious. Buffalo Chicken Bites, chicken quesadillas, chicken on a stick with a couple dipping sauces, fried pickles, onion rings, cheesesteak...
