While visiting back in my home town we were looking for a place we hadn't tried and came across Tap at Humboldt. The reviews and menu looked good so we headed that way. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the sheer size of the restaurant and outside area. Very cool decor and extremely polite wait staff. Huge beer selection on the tap wall, Arcade games, and pool tables all made us like the place even more. Unfortunately the menu we saw online was from what I was told about 7 months old and had been changed. The new menu was only 2 pages and a lot of what I had seen on the yelp menu had been removed. We still had great food but we're a little disappointed with the menu. We did happen to be eating while a band from Australia was setting up on stage. This place was very comfortable and had a great vibe. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely be back to support it every time I'm in town.

Went there last night for some dinner. Ordered fish and chips and wife had a sub. It took about 35 minutes. My dinner was cold. You can tell it sat in the kitchen for a long time. The "manager" came and I believe stuck my food in the microwave. I miss the old tap with the old food. This place has gone down hill. It seems like they just don't know how to run a larger restaurant. The food is gross and cheap. You can tell the bartenders were so embarrassed by the entire situation and apologized repeatedly. I don't know who they have running that place but the managers are rude and have no place in that line of duty.

The owner is quite annoying with all the talk about balls and very ignorant and rude. No manners and thinks he the talk of Hazy. Witnessed him throwing a fit because a customer wanted to order food and demanded him to leave and refused to serve his own customer because of someone he doesn't like. Unprofessional, he needs to find a new job that doesn't involve customer service.

Place is awesome and comes as a rather pleasant surprise given where it's at. 30+ beers on tap, with cans and btls, wine and a pretty nice liquor selection also. Space inside huge, with a game room, plenty of tables and a very large outside area when it's not covered in snow. Friendly bar tenders and a pretty decent kitchen to boot. Really liked some of the wing sauces (got sweet and tangy and hot ranch) but my main complaint is they were far too crispy/well done for my liking. Came in on a Tuesday so also tried some pastor tacos, and those came out great. No doubt this is the kind of place I would visit constantly if I lived nearby.

We're from out of town and my daughter, son and I decided to go here for dinner and a few beers. The menu looked good. We ordered our beers and food. Food never came, and all we ordered were wings and a burger. Was told after about an hour of waiting that the kitchen was backed up. We were very hungry and decided to cancel the food and leave. Beers were mediocre. My daughter and I are IPA drinkers but nothing really impressive here. Wasn't worth the drive here.

Whenever I'm dragged into going to this dump with friends I'm always, always waiting 20+ minutes to get a g*d d*mn beer. We get it; the place has live music and a crowd. No excuse to be so terribly understaffed / staffed by absolute morons, you can't handle the crowd hire more bartenders. Place is low quality if you're actually looking to drink beer instead of stand in line with your thumb up your *ss.

I'm going to sound like an asshole, but I asked for the table to be cleaned and I was just told to move tables. I found it a bit odd and inconvenient. It wasn't busy hours either and place was fairly empty. This made for me not to come back again even though the beers are delicious.

If you're looking for a good draft beer selection, you'll be happy. For food, maybe not. Although it was good, my sandwich was the size of half a sandwich. We didn't see any live music, but it seemed like a good place for that. There is also a game room that looked pretty cool.
