The first time I tasted Alan Pitotti’s signature cake (chocolate cake with a vanilla creme brûlée layer, fresh raspberries, and chocolate mousse) was over 10 years ago for my great aunt’s 90th birthday– and I was awestruck. Alan was amazing to work with. He took all my ideas (I wanted fall flavors to pair with the autumnal theme of my wedding) into consideration and was incredibly kind and professional when we met with him for our tasting. For our 3-tiered wedding cake, we chose the signature cake with an added crunchy hazelnut layer; for the Groom’s cake (which was Stardew Valley themed), we had a spice and vanilla cake, paired with a white chocolate mousse and chai tea creme brûlée layer. The cakes were INCREDIBLE. Hands down one of the best features of my wedding day. I am so grateful for Alan’s patience and help bringing our visions to life– I highly recommend this patisserie for any event!

On our holiday travels from NC to PA, our son and his wife took us to this amazing place. They love to pop in here periodically. It did not disappoint for sure! So many know them for their chocolate (which is amazing) - but the pastries are also just simply fantastic. Classic French pastries made fresh along with other delicious sweet treats. Pan au chocolate and croissants are less than $4 each for flaky, buttery goodness that melts in your mouth. Definitely worth trying - you won’t regret it.

The macaroons and chocolat au pain are amazing. The macaroons have a soft marshmellow-like texture and melt in your mouth. The flavors are a balance of distinctive and delicate. The chocolat au pain was flaky and buttery. Best french patisserie in the lehigh valley.
We worked with Dolce Patisserie for our wedding cake, and we could not have been happier! We did an iteration of their signature cake for the two of us to cut, and then several simple round cakes for our guests. Everything was delicious, and the service was great throughout the ordering process as well. Looking forward to treating ourselves to desserts in the future!

The owner called me before pickup to make sure the decoration matched our party theme, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cake tasted phenomenal – everyone at the party loved it. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. They also have amazing chocolates with unbelievable flavors, which I’ve tried before. We’re so lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood! Highly recommend!

I love coming here on my day off to treat myself and bring a little bit of joy to my life.
The chocolates are beyond delicious. Each you can tell is expertly planned and executed. I got a nice little batch today and the pumpkin spice one tasted like the most delicious pumpkin pie. The center tasted like the smoothest and creamiest pumpkin pie!
Also had a white chocolate cranberry orange cookie ? I tried to save my boyfriend a piece to try bc it was so good. Had to exercise lots of restraint to eat the rest ?.
Macaroons are always a delight. I particularly like the ones that are made with a jellyish filling. Raspberry and peanut butter and jelly were excellent.
Really loved the chocolate one too. Very rich and delightful taste!
Also had a bite of my boyfriend’s almond croissant! ? 10/10. The almond paste was fantastic. Can’t wait to get another to dip in my coffee!

I found this place on Google when I searched Macarons near me. Based on the reviews and close location, I called and placed my order within a few days notice of my daughter in-laws baby shower. I thought macarons would be the perfect touch for the desert table. It ended up being the hit! One by one I watched people empty out the tower I made. I wanted to scream, “STOP!” Selfishly I wanted to take some home! The blue macarons had caramel on the inside that were just so delectable. The owner was pleasant to deal with. I’m so happy I found this place and wish I knew about it sooner since it’s close to home. Best kept secret in Hellertown! More business is coming your way from myself and guests at the baby shower that asked where I got them from.
