I absolutely love the Starbucks! My family frequency this location multiple times a week, and we are always greeted with the best of care! Lydia especially always makes our trip a great one! She is always very kind and courteous, and makes sure that the customer is always taken care of, even when there are tiny mistakes, they always go on above and beyond to make sure that the customer is taken care of! :-) the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to and trust me I go to a lot 🤣

I visited the drive-through at 2:28 PM on a Sunday and attempted to pay with a $100 bill. Lidia immediately refused to accept it. When I asked if they had a verification method such as a detection pen or any way to confirm the bill wasn't fake she said they did not. She then told me it would take 10 minutes for her to access the safe to get change. I told her that wasn’t a problem and that I could pull over and wait because I knew my bill was legitimate. At that point, she abruptly changed her response and said she was refusing to serve me, claiming I was being rude, simply because I questioned why cash was an issue. I explained that not everyone uses electronic payments and that carrying cash doesn’t make someone suspicious or dishonest. To go from “it’ll take 10 minutes” to “I’m refusing to serve you” was baffling. It seems to be a recurring issue in this area yet NOT SURPRISING AT ALL. Basic courtesy and customer service are severely lacking. Very disappointing experience, and completely unnecessary. If you don’t accept cash period, make a big sign stating just that!

Best Starbucks in the area. Nine out of ten times, they make an amazing drink worth coming back for. The other Starbucks in the area tend to serve up disappointment, not taking the time to create the drink properly. Thank you Hellertown baristas for taking the time to make superb beverages.
