If you're looking for a drive to an out of the way place for a sweet treat you'll love the bee's knees bakery. A little bit of honey, a few sweet drinks, a variety of ice cream and some wonderfully friendly service! I didn't know what to expect when I pulled in the parking lot but it was certainly a pleasant surprise and the next time I'm in the mood for a country drive I know just where to come.... Oh and don't miss the octagonal picnic tables near the road to enjoy whatever you choose. :)

This place states on their website that they are open Monday through Fridays 7am-3pm. Drove 24 minutes just to find absolutely nobody at the store. If you are not gonna be open I would hope you would update your website and let your patrons know before doing unnecessary trips. Waste of my and other people's time.

Call first, I guess. Their website says they're open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays, and I've been searching (in vain, so far) for a really good scone for over a year now, since I moved into the Lehigh Valley. This place looked interesting, so I figured I would check it out. Drove for almost 30 minutes in the pouring rain to get there, arrived around 11:00 AM on a Sunday, and it was closed. What a waste of my time. Please update your website if your hours have changed.

Cute little bakery hidden off the road a little. Trying to get out and support local businesses. We tried a slice of cheesecake, which was very good and you could taste the fresh ingredients. We also tried a couple chocolate chip cookies, very chocolaty, I recommend to eat with a glass of milk. We will be back to try the funnel cakes and lunch items!

We got detoured due to a Halloween parade and somehow came across this treasure out in the middle of nowhere. I recognized it from Instagram so we had to stop. It was decorated for Halloween and conpletely adorable. We got a variety of snacks to try - a chocolate shake, m&m cookie, peanut butter brownie, and a s'mores cookie. The brownie was a little dry but tasty, and the s'mores cookie was absolutely incredible. There is an indoor counter, but there is a takeout window as well. There are some picnic tables set at the opposite end of the parking lot if you choose to sit outside. Very cute. Definitely planning to go back for funnel cake and breakfast sandwiches.

We went to The Bees Knees Bakery for their Trunk or Treat. Although we had to leave early because my kiddos were worn out, I can say that this activity was awesome and we look forward to going next year! The staff were all welcoming and the goodies smelled/looked amazing. We will be going to this bakery again to try their treats (my mouth is watering now, it seriously all looked so yummy!).

I got the Dracula's bite deep fried chocolate chips cookies for a group and by the end of the day they were all gone. They were delicious and addicting.

I went today (around 2 pm) and they were out of most everything on their already limited menu. I brought a friend with me today, who had never been there before, because in the past I have been most impressed with their selection. Not a good first impression. Also I am finding their food a bit on the salty side. People behind me wanted a pie that this bakery could not offer at the time. If they were to close permanently as of tomorrow I would not be surprised. Also who said you cannot enter the building due to covid. It seems everyone is making there own rules.

Totally worth checking out! Quality and freshness was over the top! Walk up orders with covid but they show you what's there and the desserts did not disappoint. The best desserts I've had in a long time! If your contemplating if its worth the drive it definitely is!! I tried the S'mores cookie and apple strudel crumble and they were both exceptional!

Beyond Dissatisfied. Brides Beware!!! We wanted to support a local small business for our wedding in September. We had previously enjoyed several of their baked goods and thought that Bee’s knees would be a great choice for our wedding cake and desserts. After weeks of emails, several calls, sending pictures and ideas back and forth with Jailyn we discussed transporting the cake and additional desserts. We were super excited to have our special cake for our special wedding day. The day prior to our wedding, my now husband called the bakery to find out what time to pick everything up. Our drive is over 35 minutes to get there. Chrissy answers and has no idea what is going on- so she took a message. A while later the owner (Nicole I think her name is), called to report that they did not make our cake and other items because she figured we went with another baker?!? How would there be any confusion about an expectation that we were utilizing your bakery for our Wedding when we discussed details up to how to transport it the day prior to the wedding?!. The owner was condescending and stated that if we needed them to make our cake then it was going to cost us more and it would be very inconvenient for her because she would have to call people in... at this point I was not giving her any money and they would not be making any part of our wedding cake or desserts. She spoke down to us like we owed her an apology for requesting them to make a cake. She did call my husband back and back track her story a bit, but the damage was already done and the sour taste was in our mouth regarding Bee’s Knees. Unfortunately, we will not be supporting this small business in the future. Brides Beware ☹️
