I love this place. Truly a hidden gem just off Rt 78 in Hellerton Pa. They have several picnic tables out front and indoor seating in back. The people there are always friendly and helpful.
Here is the secret they have one of the best Gyros you can find. You would not expect it here. They are large stuffed with meat onion lettuce tomatoes and tzaiki sauce. Everything about it is top notch.

My son and I were visiting Lehigh and needed somewhere we could get something quick. Vassi’s came up on Google maps and had good reviews so we gave it a shot.
Initially as we walked in I noticed how clean it was then we were immediately greeted by a super friendly young. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but omitted the bun and my son ordered 2 hot dogs. Food is made to order but even with that we didn’t wait too long. It also wasn’t crazy busy at the time...

I am glad I decided to try it and have been back. The food is high quality and there are healthy choices.
And, for those who choose to indulge, there is ice cream and hot dogs, too
I have been eating their house salad with grilled chicken. It's superb.
