Au Bon Lieu French Creperie

Absolutely delicious! We stopped in for a snack while on a visit to Hershey and likely will be back for lunch tomorrow!

Ewwww.......Au Bon Lieu, 110 W. Chocolate Ave. Rear, Hershey, September 3. Fail. Old unused equipment/clutter stored in back of the food facility should be removed. The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of the PA Food Code as evidenced by incorrect responses to food safety questions. Observed the following on nonfood contact surfaces: Wall above prep table in back prep area with accumulation of dirt and old food residue and need cleaning; Floors in back prep area with accumulation of dirt/debris under equipment and needs cleaning. Food facility is not removing dead or trapped pests from control devices frequently, as evidenced by observed old/decaying cockroaches/insects in glue traps on floor throughout the facility. Observed shelving storing food items in front food prep area with accumulation of crumbs/food debris. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of insect activity throughout the food facility, but facility does not have a pest control program. Observed dead cockroaches on glue traps on floors and directly on floors underneath equipment throughout the facility.

Just stumbled upon what might be the best-kept secret in town—and it’s wrapped in a crepe. Sweet, savory, vegetarian, gluten-free… this little spot has it all. Each crepe is a masterpiece, crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Honestly? I’ve never tasted anything quite like it.
If you’re rolling through Hershey, don’t miss this delicious detour. Your taste buds will thank you.

My sisters and I enjoyed another delicious supper at au bon lieu last evening. We are NEVER disappointed and a savory crepe plus a sweet crepe fills us up just right. Highly recommend!!

We come every time we visit Hershey Pennsylvania and it is always the best without fail!
Love: drawing on tables w chalk, the variety and flavor of crepes, and the relaxing jazz music, parking easy. Always a pleasure for our taste buds.
Suggestion: stay forever or open one in New York!

The best crêpes we’ve ever had! Even the coffee is unbelievably fresh. You can tell he takes his time with each order, making every crêpe absolutely perfect.

We tried the breakfast ham and turkey with cheese and spinach, plus a dessert crêpe with caramel and chocolate. Everything was outstanding, the eggs were cooked to perfection, the cheese was rich and melty, and the crêpe itself was both crispy and tender at the same time.

The shop has such a warm and friendly vibe, kids can draw on the table while waiting for our order. Super clean, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax, hang out, and enjoy the best crêpes you’ll ever taste. Out of this world!

No frills just delicious crepes with friendly service. Easily the best crepes we have had. Great selection of savory and sweet crepes. They were extremely family friendly and when possible make children’s orders first. Highly recommended.

The food and the service at Au Bon Lieu are absolutely fantastic. The couple that owns this great little crepe bistro are so warm and friendly and the crepes are amazing.
The maestro of crepes is right there cooking up all the goodness and providing great tips with a side of humor, which he is quite funny.
His wife is very warm and charming and welcomed us to have a seat and took our drink order.
The coffee is pour over and absolutely delicious. I’ve found my new favorite coffee in Hershey.

Starting off with the savory breakfast crepes I had the Salmon, Mozzarella, avocado crepe with egg. And others at my table had the mushroom spinach and the mozzarella, spinach, tomato and they were all excellent.
Then, moving on to the sweet crepes, good Lord are they amazing. We had the hazelnut strawberry, the chocolate, Caramel and toasted pine nuts, the chocolate banana, and the lemon crepe. They were all amazing and so tasty as well.

This place is definitely worth stopping at, I know we will definitely be back on this visit and many to come in the future.
Truly a gem of a restaurant.

Great crêpes! All the food was perfect.
I advise to mix and share around the table too truly experience all the amazing flavors.

Each crêpe was a work of art created with pride you could see and taste. So much a thing of beauty that it was an injustice to the crêpes to eat them with the plastic utensils provided.
The coffee is fresh, bold and beautiful served in a generous porcelain mug.
The crêpe maker was a solo act, he greeted us at the door, explained how to fill out our order form, made the coffee to order, made the food and serviced the table. He was extremely well mannered and friendly.

never had a savory crepe before. had the chicken, mozzarella, camelized onion, mushroom crepe. it was so good we bought another one before leaving. Also had plain powdered sugar, apple cinnamon, and a avocado, brie, egg - all were delicious. We really wanted to keep trying more! can't wait to be back next time we're in the area.

Our new favorite place!!!! Went this morning for our date day and can’t wait to return! We had the ham, cheese and spinach crepe and it was so good we ordered another! We also had the Nutella and strawberry crepe and the classic lemon! All were unbelievably delicious!!! The owners were so kind and welcoming we really are counting down the days until we return!!! Do yourself a favor and stop what you’re doing and go here now!!!
