“Last night we had a group of 7 in town for a wedding come in to try this place. The service was fantastic it was great to meet Ace as he runs this place by himself. The brisket was tender and had a great smoke on it. The fries were fresh cut and on point as were the wings. The pulled pork got great reviews also from our group. If your in the Grantville area for any reason hit this place up you won’t be disappointed“

“I try and go there every Friday for breakfast after I pick flowers. The breakfast is perfect . My western omelette with home fries toast and a side of bacon is always done to perfection . The ice tea is really good . The staff is so friendly .. Have been there for lunch and dinner also. So yummy !!“

“If you’re anywhere near Middletown, you have to stop at The Hop Yard. The brisket and burnt ends are on a whole different level. The brisket is perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor, and the burnt ends are the kind you dream about — crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and absolutely loaded with smoky goodness.
The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the whole place just has that welcoming, local vibe that makes you want to come back. I’ve had barbecue all over, and The Hop Yard easily ranks at the top. If you love real BBQ, this is your spot. Highly recommend!“
