What a great experience. Highly educational. Hands on. Sanitary. You get to eat what you make. FUN. Family-friendly.

The pictures make it look like you get to have all sorts of fun creating your own chocolate bar - this was not really the case. You don't have creative freedom - they have a set chocolate bar that you make, ours was a firework bar. They gave us a bowl of melted chocolate (with pop rocks already mixed in, we didn't even get to put them in ourselves), which we poured in a mold and put sprinkles on top (one type of sprinkle, no choice). It took 5 minutes. Then for the next 30+ minutes, we listened to a powerpoint about cacao. The teachers were nice, but this is not what I paid $80 for a family of 4 to do. Not engaging for kids at all who wanted to be creative with chocolate and design their own bar. Would not recommend.

Okay event. Moore for kids than adults. Chocolate lesson and make a candy bar. But it is not your own design, you make what they say.

My wife made a reservation for us to attend their truffle making class tonight for Valentine's Day. I must say it was really nice. It lasted about 45 minutes, and before the class started, there was a liquid chocolate tasting of cocoa from around the world. We got to taste how cocoa tastes from Dominican Repblic, Peru, and other countries. Out of the 6 we tried, I preferred Hershey's, and so did my wife. Some were very rich and overpowering, but Hershey had the right balance to me personally.

Once the tasting was done. You are brought into the lab. There were chocolates with our name on them, so we knew we were to sit, which I thought was nice attention to detail.

The presenter was very knowledgeable about the process of making chocolate, as well as the history of Mr. Hershey and his wife, which was very interesting.

The whole process of making truffle went by quickly as it was fun to do. In the end, we got to box up our freshly made truffles to take home. A nice experience for a lovely Valentine's Day.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. This is an awesome experience and includes a bit of education on the history as well as how chocolate is made. We made an Easter birds nest. I think the bad reviews assumed you can take young children to this activity. It's really not for young children. There were plenty of 6-12 years olds in our class that had a great time and were able to participate fully but it requires sitting for 45 minutes, listening to instruction and using liquid chocolate to create the activity. When you buy a ticket, ask about the complexity of what's being done in the lab. The activity changes by class, and some are much easier than others. Overall, we had an excellent time and left with our edible art. Class is around 45 minutes, and no children under 5 are allowed in the lab.

We had a fabulous time and learned a lot also. The price is fair and all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Not worth the money ...also the ladies have this vibe that they don't really truly like their job as soon as my kids sat down at the table the lady shhhh them and the class hadn't even started and on top of that they make you wait at the door forever and ignore your there. It's Not that much of a Fun experience and they should offer more toppings for the making of the candy bar. Lame.

Not worth the money and the ladies guiding the class should be more Up beat and Happy and not shhh My Kids before the event even starts. We paid for a fun experience and was not that impressed.
