We have eaten at Devon's many times in the past. Food and service have always been top notch. In fact, it it weren't unmannerly, I would've licked my plate clean in the past. This current visit the food was not up to the usual 5 stars we have come to expect from Devon's. The server and the assistants (water person and person tabling the entrees) were attentive and personable as usual. The flavor of the food this visit wasn't up to expectations. Everything was prepared well, but there was a lack of flavor. The opah could've used a marinate or sauce or some sort as it was very dry. The truffle butter mushrooms didn't have the same taste as usual. Maybe this was an off night, or since it is our first visit or the season the kitchen staff may have changed since our previous visits. We will give Devon's another try, but if the taste of their entrees remains so-so, we may not be back because I can't see paying these prices for so-so flavored entrees.

Overall, this was an excellent dining experience. Prices have risen significantly over the past couple of years. Service was excellent. When I complained about the music volume (speaker was directly above our table), the waiter had it reduced immediately. We dined out for my birthday using the generous $25 coupon. A cupcake was served with a candle. Nice touch!

This is a great place to dine. The food is always top level. Their seafood platter special was outstanding. Service was attentive. The noise level was a bit high. It made conversation difficult. I will recommend it to others.

Was disappointed by the food here - blackened shrimps were overcooked and the bouillabaisse tasted underwhelming. Garlic wine mussels was the only good item on the menu imo. Was also super difficult to get the attention of the service team and the meal dragged on longer than we’d like.

We have been to many steak houses across the country, this is not one I would revisit. Our waiter (Stephen) was the highlight of our experience. He was professional and gracious, but I don't think the kitchen was helping him. We obviously ordered different cuts of steak. One medium well and one medium. The medium well was served more rare than the medium. (Blood on the plate). The side of risotto was seriously over cooked. Stephen did his best and returned the meal to make it right. Like I said, I don't think the kitchen was cooperating. The meal was replaced, but the risotto remained uneaten. This wouldn't have happened at Harry Carry's in Chicago, or Sanatra's in Vegas, or Shula's in Florida. The price was about the same, the quality was miles apart.

I had the surf & turf with scallops. The steak was so tender and flavorful, and the scallops were delicious. Steven was a fantastic server. He presented all the information we could have needed up front. He was by far the most knowledgeable server we've had at Devon and was very attentive. The candle in the cheesecake for my birthday was a nice touch.
