She took the time to explain some newer menu features without going through the menu piece by piece given that she knew we had been there many times before. Our appetizer was so delicious, we added another! We specifically asked that the second app not delay our entrees, which had already been submitted. We got the second app before the entrees, piping hot, and still waited another 25 min for entrees. When the entrees arrived we were warned the plates were extremely hot, but upon immediate tasting, the food was just warm, and clearly spent time under the heat lamps. Disappointed given the price.

We visited for the first time on Saturday night and had a fabulous meal. We highly recommend starting with the seafood trio if you'd like to try multiple foods. The crab cakes were outstanding, truly no filler, just very fresh tasting. Benjamin was a great server and we look forward to visiting again.

Wow, this place is not what it used to be. Devon in Hershey, PA still has the same atmosphere and décor, but the food quality, service, and ticket times have seemed to have plummeted. What used to feel like a reliable spot now feels disorganized, and the long wait for food only made the experience more frustrating. I really wanted to enjoy this visit, but it was a disappointment overall. At this rate, it will likely be the next area restaurant to go out of business if things don’t improve soon.

Very pricy for the quality. My scallops were very gritty! It was like biting into a mouthful of sand. Some were overcooked as well and not seared the same . It was only on half, but it shouldn't have been on any. The halibut was a bit overcooked. It is a hard fish to cook. It is definitely chain restaurant without quality control. Pictures are very deceiving. The carrot cake was very large and tasted amazing!

Disappointing Service for a Special Occasion
We dined at Devon Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday with a party of six, and unfortunately the service fell well below expectations for a restaurant of this caliber.
Our waters sat empty for 30+ minutes, and our cocktails remained empty for long stretches as well. Dirty plates stayed on the table far too long, and our server never returned to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. For a birthday celebration—with gifts on the table—it felt especially disappointing.
What stood out most was the lack of management involvement. We saw at least three managers walk by our table, yet not a single one stopped to check in, despite the obvious service gaps and the size of our party.
While the food itself was fine, the overall experience was overshadowed by inattentive service and a complete absence of hospitality. For a steakhouse positioned as upscale and suited for celebrations, this experience missed the mark entirely.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a notable miss—especially for a birthday dinner.
We went to celebrate my birthday. Overall the meal was good - filet was done perfectly and the scallops and shrimp were very good. Wife had the jumbo shrimp cocktail which was disappointing. Shrimp had no flavor and were so tough she had to cut them with a knife. Mentioned to the server but unfortunately they didn't do anything about it. Her entree was grilled burrundi which was delicious. We both had lobster mac and cheese and grilled wild mushrooms, both were delicious. Overall it was a very nice evening - just wish they would have taken the shrimp cocktail off the bill.

Wow I came here a year ago and we were really impressed. Decided to have dinner here while on holiday and all I can say is what happen. The first time we came here the service was delightful and was one of the reasons we came back. Came tonight looking forward to dinner and then we got seated in a timely manner, they weren’t busy. Our drinks took forever our appetizers came before the drinks did and like I said, it wasn’t busy. Apps came out got Rockefellers and the calamari and the coating was soggy, don’t know if it sat in the window and died. The entrees took so long and then the ticket didn’t come out complete and was waiting on mushrooms and was told they were piping hot. I went to pick up the plate and it was maybe warm. Checked the temp of the shroom with the back of my hand and yea not hot stuck my finger in the middle wasn’t even hot. The manager didn’t even come see how the night went but I’m sure he was just too busy stocking up server stations. This place was a family favorite but no more. Goodbye Hershey.

Yes, it is pricey. The food and service made it worth every penny. I have no problem paying for really well prepared top grade seafood. The lobster was fresh, sweet and cooked to perfection. The service was a perfect companion to the food. There for every need without hovering or those uncomfortable stops when you have a piece of steak in your mouth trying to say your fine. Highly recommend if you want a night out with good no, great food.
