Englewood is an amazing place for a great meal. You always feel welcome and the atmosphere is comfy and relaxing. They have terrific specials which change weekly. I love it here!
Upon arriving, it took a minute to determine the restaurant was downstairs. There was a woman who was standing at the top of the stairs as my husband and I debated if there was an actual restaurant or only a venue open on specific days. She eventually asked how many, and then told us to proceed down the stairs. Being on a walker, I asked of there was an elevator. She stated there was not and said we could walk down the ramp outside. Seeing the distance and incline, I opted for the stairs. My husband had a Stella and I had a watered down Apple Sangria. We did have the Brussels Sprouts and Bacon - it was delicious. For dinner we had Fish & Chips, thr Wedge Salad and a Pizza. The fish & chips was similar to what you would expect at a diner, but as a children's portion. The wedge salad looked beautiful but only had enough toppings for 1/4 of the lettuce. The pizza was interesting and sent back after the first bite. The Ricotta cheese was flavored with lemon. Lemon Ricotta on a savory pizza. The server did take the pizza off the check and apologized stating the new menu is coming out soon and the chef used the incorrect Ricotta in our pizza. This meal was mediocre at best. We paid for the beautiful ambiance. This was a $50 meal at best, not a $120 meal. The 2 positives werr our server and the appetizer. Nothing else was worth the money. And, when we left, we found out there is an elevator, but we were not allowed to use it - no reason provided. We decided to use th ramp because the stairs were very difficult. The ramp is uphill and extremely long. The restaurant is not ADA compliant. Although beautiful and a piece of history, we will never return. I suggest Devans or The Hershey Hotel for a meal experience to match the price.
Stopped by here on a road trip, the staff was amazing! Great customer service and super yummy coffee! 😊☕️
We planned a family dinner for Saturday, June 14th at Englewood Hershey with my 93 year-old father, who uses a walker. Two days before, my sister phoned to ask about accessibility and whether we could use the elevator, as we have done on prior visits. No one returned her call. She tried again the next day. Same story: no call-back. When we arrived on Saturday evening, the staff denied use of the elevator. They insisted instead that my elderly, mobility-impaired father use a long, sloping curved outdoor walkway in the rain to enter the restaurant at the lower level, vs. the steep indoor or outdoor stairs. The reason given was a private party through which we would have had to pass briefly to access the elevator. During our meal, we asked the manager if we could use the elevator for my father on the way out. She denied us access. When it was time to go, I took him to the elevator anyway, through public dining spaces on the lower level, having used it before with him on prior visits. The alternative would have been to have him walk back UP the long, steep sloping outdoor walkway in the rain with his walker, risking a fall. The rest of our party took the stairs. Having reached the upper level in the elevator, we sought to simply walk from the elevator to the exit toward the parking lot. On the way, we were accosted rudely by staff who exited us through a side door because otherwise we would have had to briefly, unobtrusively pass through what we were told, as we were given the bum’s rush, was “a $30,000 wedding.” No one expressed concern for our safety related to the elevator. The concern expressed was that we would be disrupting a crowded, noisy $30,000 wedding reception by quietly passing through briefly on the way to the front door. The alternative would be having my father walk back UP the long, steep sloping outdoor walkway in the rain. Englewood Hershey owners maintain the walkway is short and ADA-compliant, but it’s a long walk for a 93 year-old in a walker in the rain. I wonder what happens when there’s snow on the ground. All of this unpleasantness could have been avoided had the restaurant answered the phone or returned my sister’s call. Had we known the elevator was off limits, we simply would have gone elsewhere. I would NOT recommend Englewood Hershey for anyone with mobility issues.
Apparently they are changing their menu, so current menu items are not available, unfortunately nobody told us until we ordered. Management wasn't to concerned, walked out.
Been here a few times now and always find a beer to enjoy. The bar area is a great place to watch a game and a bite to eat and service is always great.
Overall the experience was extremely...okay.
The most outstanding part of my experience here was the service and the server. She was absolutely fantastic, attentive, and engaging. I felt like she actually cared when she asked me which beer was my favorite.
Otherwise though the cocktails were extremely boring and overly sweet. I would not order any again if I came back. The beer was fine as well but nothing to note.
The food was also okay with my favorite dish being the wings. The chili lime was quite flavorful but a bit over salted.
I would not go out of my way to come back but if I did find myself here again I would not throw a fit.
It's a great location + decor (completely renovated) + food + beverages + service. Plenty of outdoor seating where my pooch was pampered. Will return when we're in the area again.
We went here for lunch today and absolutely loved it. The food and beer were excellent and all of the staff were great. We had the corn dip, the pulled pork, and the smash burger and I couldn't stop eating. We loved it all. They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
Food was good and beers were delicious!

The HBC pilsner was probably the best pilsner I've ever had, great crisp and refreshing finish!
The poutine was decent, did not enjoy the gravy, it was standard canned meat gravy, quite salty, and not thick enough for my preference in Canadian style poutine.
The brussel sprouts appetizer was delicious also. Suggestion to enhance it further is to add a spicy dipping sauce for them or something.
Had the Spicy Farmhouse pizza also. Was delicious, very cheesy, and doughy (less toasted) for those that like that.
Overall, the environment and service were great as well. I recommend stopping here for a beer or meal while in Hershey :)
Every dish being served looked amazing, very clean presentation. My food was delicious. Super high level talent in that kitchen. I think they have all Aces on that kitchen crew. Try the wings, you will not find a more crispy happy hour wing menu around here. Its the happy hours stop. I loved the fish tacos. I spoke with the chef, his expertise is unmatched. He's all about the detail in the techniques he's using. Service was great, lots of smiles. I hope that all know what great chefs and service staff they are. They should be pround of themselves and each other. You guys make it look easy, Thank you for a great meal and a good time.
Incredible food and amazing staff! Highly recommend for this tucked away gem

My company, Ross Productions, LOVED working at and with The Englewood. The venue is amazing, staff is fantastic, food and drinks are great, and the load-in is super quick and easy for us.
The venue is so customizable making it even better to have your event here. There’s a reason why our Wedding DJs, Photo/Videographers, Planners/Coordinators, Officiants, Photo Booth staff, and AV techs love it here!
