Food was good. A little expensive but it's to be expected. Burger was a little dry. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were all kind. Definitely worth the experience!

The Chocolatier was a mixed bag for us. We arrived at 6:45 for our reservation and only waited a short time to be seated. However, our waitress took a while to greet us -- to be fair, it was very busy -- and then provided us with minimal service for the majority of the meal, despite being very friendly and attentive to the tables around us. The decor of the restaurant was really nice -- festive and park-themed without being cheesy. That was probably the highlight of the night. We were all hungry after being at Hersheypark for a couple of hours, so we immediately put in our drink and appetizer orders. The drinks came out in a timely way, after a few minutes, but the appetizer took about half an hour to show up. Then, after we put in our entree order -- 2 pastas and a flatbread -- it took us almost another 45 minutes to an hour to receive those items. When the food arrived, it was just ok, overall. I got a hot chocolate flight, which was, by far, the best item of the night. The chicken nachos appetizer was ok. The pasta dishes that the kids got were ok. My flatbread was, again, just ok. I wouldn't order any of it again except for the hot chocolate flight. From start to finish, it took us over two hours to be seated, order our food, receive our food, eat it, pay the bill, and leave. We felt that the server was basically ignoring our table and likely forgot to put our order in after delivering the appetizer. We will not ever go to The Chocolatier again. Despite the great ambiance, everything else about the place was not worth it. There are much more affordable restaurants with more attentive, faster service and better food that are just outside the park.

Food was hard and stale. Sat under heat lamp for an extended time. For how much the food cost the quality of it was unacceptable.

We've dined previously and we're excited to dine again but this time (dined 2 nights in a row this time) but it just wasn't as good as our previous visits. I thought maybe it was just me until my family said the same thing....just wasn't the same. We had a family member who had not dined previously, and he said he did not understand all the hype we were giving the restaurant because it was mediocre. The first night I ordered the Delmonico medium rare, and I received the strip steak, basically raw. The flavor of the food just wasn't there this year. Unfortunately, we were not impressed this year. Due to this, we may not return next year. We are yearly visitors.

We enjoyed everything we had! I liked the creativity of the menu, infusing chocolate & Hershey sweets into unexpected uses. The chocolate fondue dessert was everyone's favorite!

Great hostess, sat us a little earlier than our reservation which was nice. Our waitress seemed like she had been working for 3 straight days, very poor attitude. Drinks came out quick. Then we waited for over 45 minutes for the food to come out. To say we were underwhelmed would be an understatement. Not worth the price or the time. We will not be booking another reservation there the next time we go to Hershey Park.

We were seated right before our reservation time but seated next to an outside door that people and employees were going in and out and every time it opened it made a loud swooshing noise. There were many other open tables we could have been seated at. The food was definitely worth the little wait! It was served hot and tasty. Our server was attentive and refilled our drinks without us asking. Every one was friendly.

Overall we did not enjoy our visit to the Chocolatier. The food is very overpriced. We got the steak and It was very chewy. We also got the Cinnamon Butter Milkshake. It was not worth almost $20. The cake on top tasted stale. Our waitress was very nice. And we enjoyed that the restaurant was close to the park but far enough away from all the noise in the park. If we come back to Hershey Park in the future we will be finding somewhere else to dine.

My family and I are from Hershey and I am so thankful that we did not travel far for such a disappointing meal. I feel bad complaining because the experience had nothing to do with the staff in any way. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food however was so bad that it made me actually want to write a review. I knew going into our reservation that we would be paying theme park prices but not only was the food not worth it it was down right bad. I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Crunch Burger. From the description you would imagine a decadent burger worthy of a cheat day. Instead I got wet halved peanuts on a toasted bun with a tablespoon of jam that was sticky in a way that said "I have been sitting all day". The sweet potato fries on the burger tasted like they had been floating in the pool of a fryer for a week. My husband got BLT Flatbread. He handed me a tomato and said "tell me if this is weird". It was somehow sweet and sour at the same time. He ended up eating a half of the most edible thing at the table which was the Chocolatetown Burger which was dry. I will not be going back or recommending it to anyone. I would have been fine paying $20 for a burger if it was in anyway exciting or memorable like the descriptions promise. I would suggest eating themed foods in the park. We could have spent just as much on some of the Halloween snacks and had a much better time.

We are never disappointed by this restaurant!!! The staff is always amazing and really makes it a great experience! The food is great and it is the one place my daughter cleans her plate!!! Highly recommend

This was our second time dining at The Chocolatier and we loved the casual vibe, as well as creative cocktails and food! I recommend the Hershey's (with a kiss garnish) and Reese's martinis, as well as the grilled shrimp street tacos and Fast Break chicken sandwich! If you have room for dessert, definitely try the Toasted Cheesecake (basically a S'mores cheesecake)! Our waiter was also attentive and friendly!

We love this restaurant. The staff is pleasant and polite. They offered to sit us early while we waited for the rest of our party. Our waiter was knowledgeable on the menu. The food was delicious

We had eaten here 2 nights before and had an excellent meal. Last night there were 5 of us and had good service from the male server. The food was excellent again. However, the food bringer girl dropped a couple plates - knocking over water and wine glasses, soaking us. The restaurant's response was feeble. Couple of sorries but then it took a while to get a couple of towels and we had to ask for more napkins and replacement of spilled wine. No, manager intervention, no “we'll give you a dress on us”. Not great feeling when we left.
