We've dined previously and we're excited to dine again but this time (dined 2 nights in a row this time) but it just wasn't as good as our previous visits. I thought maybe it was just me until my family said the same thing....just wasn't the same. We had a family member who had not dined previously, and he said he did not understand all the hype we were giving the restaurant because it was mediocre. The first night I ordered the Delmonico medium rare, and I received the strip steak, basically raw. The flavor of the food just wasn't there this year. Unfortunately, we were not impressed this year. Due to this, we may not return next year. We are yearly visitors.
We enjoyed everything we had! I liked the creativity of the menu, infusing chocolate & Hershey sweets into unexpected uses. The chocolate fondue dessert was everyone's favorite!
The Santa and having an assistant bring for pictures excellent. Service excellent Food awful !!! Cold eggs No yogurt Pastry dry. People working did a good job. Pictures purchasing good. ✅
The food was very good. We were there at 3 pm so it was not busy at all so service was good. My only complaint was our shoes were sticking to the floor when we walked...all 4 people in our party noticed it. Maybe something was spilled but didn't seem to matter where we walked it was sticky. We have been here many times and never noticed this before so hopefully it was just the day.
My waitress Megan was really nice. Took time to speak with my daughter and she made us feel very welcomed. Food was really good and so were the drinks
This was our 2nd year coming with my 2 adult daughters and my granddaughter. We had a wonderful experience. True was out waiter and he was just the sweetest. He was very kind and efficient and made our experience wonderful. We love starting off our trip here before going into the park. Its a great place to go.
This is our 4th visit to the Chocolatier Restaurant. It's super fun, indulgent, and convenient to the park. This visit was pretty awful. Service was the worst - our waitress was uninterested in us from the get, our appetizer came out after our meal, dirty dishes sat on our table for a long time after we were clearly done, no water refills, and no check ins from our waitress or any kind of manager. This restaurant is always busy when we visit. In the past service was better, not excellent, but better. The food was mediocre at best. They have this fun “Ferris wheel” appetizer that we've always gotten...for starters, it's $39.99 🫣. This time they changed the items on the wheel - no spinach dip but now pickle dip, no chicken wings but now Cuban egg rolls, and added bacon/pork belly cubes. The replacements were awful. Our kids (14 & 11) wouldn't eat any of them. We did know what we were getting but opted to try anyway. Big fail. We ordered chicken Alfredo for dinner it was bland, watery and lacked flavor. The best part was dessert. We got the fondue but before they could set it down, my husband had to bus our table 🤦♀️ it was good but not worth the wait. The restaurant is very fun, atmosphere is great, and it's attached to the largest Hershey store. Unfortunately, due to the price, frustrating and disappointing service and mediocre food we will skip it next visit. There are some other places in the park that are better and less expensive. If you do opt to eat here, MAKE A RESERVATION! It always very busy resulting in long wait times.
The service, from the check-in to the wait staff to the kitchen was poor. It appeared to be very understaffed and no one wanted to be there. Not friendly at all!
As Hershey's only “themed” restaurant, the Chocolatier is a bit underwhelming. Service was fine and it's nicely decorated with some nice historical theming (old stadium chairs in the entry/waiting area, historical photos on the wall, dangling light fixtures that mimic the lights on the track of a roller coaster). Unfortunately, the food (like most of Hershey's food options) felt short of expectations. The Chocolate infused burger was fine, but the Chicken and Waffles—a highlighted “signature” dish on their menu that hearkened back to Milton Hershey, is pretty terrible. The flavor profile with the chocolate, cheddar and scallions on the waffle is strange. But worse—the waffle crumbled like it had been under a heat lamp all day and the chicken was as dry and stiff as a hockey puck. Theme park food is what it is, but we were hoping the Chocolatier would be a nice break from corn dogs and funnel cake. The value wasn't bad and it was nice being so close to the entrance, but not sure if I'd go back.
We almost always have a meal at Chocolatier when we visit Hershey Park. Always a great meal. Megan was our waitress and she was vantastic. Would love to have her again wait on us.

Food was super overpriced for the quality. The salads were way too over dressed the chicken and waffles were disgusting. The waffle batter had scallions in it. Awful. The chicken with it was way over cooked. The milkshakes were delicious tho and they should be for $18 a shake.
Best pretzel ever was so good it was insane Great spot by founders way you can see Reese’s cup fusion it was delicious

This was our second time dining at The Chocolatier and we loved the casual vibe, as well as creative cocktails and food! I recommend the Hershey's (with a kiss garnish) and Reese's martinis, as well as the grilled shrimp street tacos and Fast Break chicken sandwich! If you have room for dessert, definitely try the Toasted Cheesecake (basically a S'mores cheesecake)! Our waiter was also attentive and friendly!
We love this restaurant. The staff is pleasant and polite. They offered to sit us early while we waited for the rest of our party. Our waiter was knowledgeable on the menu. The food was delicious
Our server was fabulous. She became our server after they realized that we had been seated and no one had taken our drink order yet. It only took about 10 minutes. We ordered the ferris wheel appetizer. It's a bit pricy but it's fun. That only took about 45 minutes to come out. Again, our server was fabulous. She brought us pretzel bites while we waited and the comped the sampler. Our meal came shortly after the appetizer! My son ordered his burger medium. It came well done. At this point we had already been sitting there for over an hour and didn't want to bother the poor server with another mishap of our food. The short ribs are delicious. But the salad by son's girlfriend ordered was a little on the bland side. We love the atmosphere and the food is pretty good, so we'll definitely be back. Just wished they could figure the issues and fix them.
