The Bears' Den at Hershey Lodge

Great food and great service. Buffalo chicken was over the top "hot". Turkey club was awesome! Will definitely be back, but no Buffalo chicken!

The food is meh, nothing to write home about. Definitely simple fried foods with a few other options added. They were under construction when we went so I can't say the atmosphere was great or horrible. The service, I had 2 experiences. The first experience was great our server was friendly and came to the table at the most opportune moments so she was never interrupting us or asking how things were when our mouths were full. She did have a few foul balls thrown at her that I saw, one group of people kept adding more tables to theirs so she went from having 4 people at the table (when we walked in) to having 10 people at the table when we left. Then she had another group of 5 that had been set in someone else's section moved into her section. I believe this might have rightfully annoyed another server because I saw the other server give her some attitude. But she handled everything with a smile on her face and complete grace. The second time we went in the server gave off vibes that we were just a bother, she disappeared at the end when we wanted to pay (she disappeared into the kitchen and I know because we were sat right next to the door for the kitchen). They are the second cheapest restaurant at the lodge and I hope when the construction is done they will get things settled and it will be better.

While our food and waitress were very good, the young lady who seated us doesn’t seem to know how to think out of the box. If you’re asked by the customer that they would like a certain table and your response is”it’s not clean” then walk away that’s not good customer service. The correct answer would be” let me get that cleaned for you or you can sit at this clean table already set” especially if there are not many customers in the restaurant! The food was a little over priced for that kind of service

Bison burger with cajun spice was excellent. Mushroom burger was also excellent. Oniin rings also very good. Cooked as ordered, service was good, no issues. The atmosphere inside is good, however was a little on the clinical and sterile side and needed some 'warmth'. Great sports theme and great character, but the ambiance could benefit from a little more of a 'home for Christmas sitting by the fireplace' homey feel while still being a sports themed bar.

Food was good, prices were a bit on the high side but it's a captive audience kind of place. 20 bucks for wings stuffed me. Small but varied tap list. Everyone found something.

I took my grandchildren here for dinner. We ordered hamburgers, fish and chips. Chicken tenders and fries. Everything came to our table piping 🔥. I can't say that I have ever experienced that before. The food was delicious and they gave you plenty. Our server was kind and courteous (she got a big tip). I highly recommend going here if you have kids or teenagers. It is very kid friendly and I can't wait until our next visit.

I ate at the Bears Den for the first time before the Bettlejuuce musical. Loved my sandwich. I will definetly return

They were very busy due to the Groom Expo so we ordered to go and ate it there. It came out quickly, and the burgers were delicious! The kitchen was on point!!!!

Placed to-go order. A little pricey but portion size and taste were excellent. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wait time was excellent. Decent sized sports bar and had a small arcade for the kids. Would recommend whether staying at The Lodge or not.
