Beer is good. Their food sucks. Way too hipster, overthinking of their menu. No sane person wants smoked trout and foie gras with their IPA. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. A good smash burger or cheesesteak would do wonders. Also, the upstairs is a swing and a miss. Your pizza was the best food you had and it went bye bye. Getting rid of Arryved and having to order at the counter is annoying as well. Evergrain and Wolf are considerably better overall.

Visiting from out of town and stopped at this place. The food and drink side was good but the gift shop was awful. Trying to find a women’s size for the girl friend and took next to four workers who were to busy the whole time talking to each other. Didn’t buy anything because of this, less than three feet away standing for several minutes. It was too much work for them to acknowledge someone looking to spend money.

Atmosphere, beers, food, and service are all very good. We had the brisket sandwich and chilli.the sandwich was very dry, but nothing a packet of BBQ sauce couldn't fix. The chilli was surprisingly good and we definitely recommend it. Next time we're ordering two of those.

Really good beer and great food. I had a good time and plan to come back. There's too much to eat and drink in just one visit.

Came back three nights in a row. Looked at other local brewery options, but there was too much I wanted to try at Tröegs.

Really surprised to see the number of negative reviews. I live very close to Troegs and it is a go to when I have people visiting or a special occasion for me and friends. They serve some of the most interesting food in the area and the beer selection is diverse and tasty. If you can't find a style you like, you aren't tasting. I really appreciate this since I am not an IPAer but a stoudt, bocker! Yes, it is a pretty small venue and it does get very busy at times! If you don't want to wait/deal, there are plenty of other options in the area (but none with the same vibe/atmosphere or beer food selection - lookin at you Snitz Creek). Yes, you have to order food at the food counter - so what? Plenty of other places use this method which separates the brewery and kitchen operations. If you don't like that go to Rubber Soul. (Go to Rubber Soul anyway. The food is great! Beer is acceptable.) I've never had a bad experience with the staff, but have had to wait for food and drink when it was packed. I'd rather wait at Troegs than go to Fudruckers, Houlihan's or most of the other overpriced and substandard places in the area. Exceptions include Devon ($$$ but can be fantastic) Smoked (spotty but I've had great meals there as well), Rotunda. Yes, on occasion, I've gotten some food duds at Troeg's. The salmon baguette is terrible and should be taken off the menu. You simply can't put a piece of delicate salmon in an oversized hard crusted roll and expect it to be anything but disaster. I appreciate the nod to a healthy option, but this sandwich needs a serious rework!

If you've never been you owe it to yourself to go. If you had a bad experience, maybe try it again and at a time when it isn't bursting at the seams. Get the flights so you can taste the variety of brews. Some stand outs in the food are Brisket (my partner like this but we aren't hard core BBQ enthusiasts!), Duck Pate, Mussels, Cheese and Charcuterie. Bon Appetit!

I had no place on website to review the beer. So I came here. But I'm drinking the dopplebock lager. Idk if it was the one I picked up or what but it seemed to me it was lacking just a little bit more carbonation. It's a real good beer. Good mouth feel. But might be little heavy for the normal american light beer drinker. Taste was perfect to me. I guess it called malty taste. Or maybe roasted. I'm not good at telling the difference. I wish they had these in ga.

Just sat at the bar for 20 min without service at all. Hope you have better luck than me. 🫡

The pretzel is the best part of the whole place but….
Service is not good, team.
ONE place to order food.
It took over thirty minutes to wait in the line…. So we could not drink together.
It was two thirty pm and you would think that it would not take that long.
Don’t get the grilled cheese or fries
Wish I could leave a good review.
Also- no metal forks available this day
The silverware that they cleaned was dirty

Service is great. Beer variety is great. Food is carnivore-centric. Veggie burger is homemade with no real flavor - could use a sauce. Curried Seasonal Veggies were fantastic!!! Amazing flavor!!

The beer is good and the atmosphere is nice. We like how we can bring our dog and sit outside. However it's pretty ridiculous to have to wait 30 minutes in line just to order popcorn and be given popcorn that's just sitting out. I can order drinks from the wonderful staff walking around and have it added to my tab, but not popcorn?!

Good beer; over-priced and so-so food. They don’t tell you that their food “specials” aren’t served until after 4 PM.

Food was good, although somewhat pricey. Keep in mind: If you sit outside with a pet, you have a LONG walk to food order & pay register and then back again to your table. No waiter service.

Went here this past Thursday with my girlfriend and did a guided tour with Art. This experience was so fantastic and informational without it being boring or artificial, because of Art and his authentic personality in the tour. $15 per person for that experience including complimentary drinks and a beer glass? Absolute bang for your buck. Thanks again Art
