First time visiting since the Chef Greg took over. We were all blow away from my teenage kids to grandmom. Outstanding food cooked to perfection, great service and a lovely setting. It is probably the best meal I have had in the area. We will be back!

The manor house, grounds and overall setting and atmosphere was pristine, relaxed and romantic. The menu, although limited, was diverse enough for most tastes including ours. It was a very special occasion for us which they treated with discrete elegance. The service featured a young, yet exceedingly knowledgeable, waiter who described the dishes in great detail. His demeanor was friendly and very attentive. Barley Sheaf's new ownership has certainly earned our praise. We will be back.

We had a lovely evening at The Inn at Barley Sheaf. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Our food was amazing. We both had the pork dish and it was excellent. We will be back. Advice, go a bit early and walk the beautiful grounds!

One of my favorites in the area for upscale dining experience! The food was exceptional and service was almost as good to match. Too much wine was poured at the start (more than a normal single portion — the waiter tried to serve the entire bottle at one time) and not all tasting plates were delivered at the same exact time (they came out two at a time).

Hidden gem! If you haven't been to Barley Sheaf, you are missing out. The old owners were great, but the new ownership and executive chef have taken it to the next level. This is the first post I've ever made about a restaurant, but I needed to do so after our experience last night. If you like fine dining, book a reservation. You will not be disappointed! PS - Kyle was an excellent server!

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at Barley Sheaf! Mark, Deena, and Kelly were so on top of everything and made sure that our experience on the day of the event was seamless. Not to mention - the property is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious -- not your standard wedding fare! From beginning to end, their staff thought of every single detail, were helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We live in NYC and planning a wedding out of state definitely had it's challenges, but they made it absolutely seamless.

I highly recommend Barley sheaf as a venue (especially in the fall if you can swing it -- the colors are AMAZING!)

Spent a magical weekend celebrating my best friend’s wedding back in Nov! In terms of location, you can’t beat it. It’s close to Downtown New Hope and Peddlers Village. The rooms here are out of this world - my husband and I were in the Deep Tangled Wildwood suite. Is it a bit pricey? Sure, but to have everything on-site from beginning to end was amazing. It felt like a fairytale experience, and I was so lucky to be a part of it!

The finest dining in all of Bucks County, absolutely 5 star. This will be a regular for us. An exceptional experience in every way.

It's been seven years since I last wrote a review for the restaurant of The Inn at Barley Sheaf. And though I've been here many times over the years, with the holiday's upon us, and a new Executive Chef, Greg Vassos, it was time to go again. And I'm glad to have done so.

The atmosphere is always inviting, the service (Kyle was our primary waiter) was impeccable, and the food was excellent. Our party of three sat at a table with a direct view of the kitchen, which was fun to watch, and we took advantage of the Chef's Tasting Menu which consisted of: Kombu Cured Hamachi Crudo, Pork Belly, Beef Tartare, Wild Harvested Scallops, Jurgielwicz Duck Breast, and a Whipped Matcha Cheesecake for desert. The only miss, for an otherwise excellent meal, was that the scallops were forgotten. When desert came out, and we asked about the scallops, the staff were very quick to apologize, offered to bring them then, offered to package for take-home, and offered to reduce our bill. As the rest of the meal was so good, and we knew we'd be back, we asked for the credit as a gift card to be used for our next wonderful meal there. Of the aforementioned plates we sampled, the duck was spectacular, the beef tartare was good but could have had more beef versus potato. Overall, an excellent dining experience ... once again.

What an unexpected delight in Bucks County! The pre fixe dinner was truly incredible. My only complaint was that I couldn't possibly eat all that food. The scallops and duck were exceptionally prepared. The pork belly and sweet potato appetizer is superb and seasonally on point. I have dined at 5 star / Michelin restaurants in Philadelphia, NYC, Europe, etc. and would vouch for Barley Sheaf. I enjoyed that the dishes were all visually beautiful with unique use of ingredients and flavor profiles. Thanks for a great experience!
