We had brunch and I highly recommend the frittata and the smoked salmon. Very nice service was provided by Mia and Katie.

Dining here was an amazing experience and a wonderful way to spend our anniversary. We did the 7-course tasting and each dish was unbelievable. When we were seated, our server Chad said that anything we eat tonight will be the best version of that thing we've ever had, and he was completely right. It was the most expensive dinner I've ever had but was so worth it. We're talking about making this restaurant our annual anniversary dinner every year.

We chose the 7-course tasting menu to celebrate a special occasion. Courses are chosen by the chef, no substitutions, although you can choose to upgrade from a duck course to wagyu beef. We loved every course and our interactions with the staff. Planning to make this a regular event - maybe not weekly because it's pricey, but monthly or so.

Lovely , historic property. Menu was expertly prepared with mostly local ingredients and multi-layered flavors. Servers were very knowledgeable about each dish. Plan to dine there again.

We absolutely loved every minute of planning and having our wedding with the Barley Sheaf. The entire team was thoughtful, creative, accommodating, sweet, and good at their jobs. We worked most with Kelly, and she is a rockstar!!! The venue is beautiful and can be left alone to be gorgeous or I would imagine can accommodate a wide range of themes. The food was amazing!! They even created a new dish not on their menu for us. All of our guests loved the venue and raved about every aspect.

First time we visited since the new owners took over. It was a lovely experience. The restaurant has been painted and refreshed. Still excellent food and service which we have come to expect. You won't be disappointed in your dining experience!

An exceptional and memorable dining experience. The food was on par with the best restaurants in NYC. Service was knowledgeable, efficient and unobtrusive. The wine list was focused and complemented the meal. Overall, I would recommend it as one of the best restaurants in the area.

Really excellent food! We have been going to Barley Sheaf for years to celebrate my birthday. It had become a problem because the former chef did not create very interesting food for my vegetarian husband, so he didn't really enjoy himself. Under the new management they served a really delicious steak to me, and a tasty, creative and well-prepared vegetable risotto to my husband. I'm going to grab my omnivore niece and go have the 7-course tasting menu some time soon!

The dinner was amazing, and so was the attention to detail. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience.

Chef Greg Vasos, anchored in formal French training, is fresh from the “farm to table” American rage at Brick Farm in Hopewell NJ. At Barley Sheaf, Chef is free to develop a hybrid cuisine that successfully blends American, French and Asian influences— wow! Thank you former owners Mark and Deena Frank for a job well done. With a loan from Berkshire VC under her belt and a background in the wedding hospitality biz, we will see what business expansions new owner Floridian Gwen Allen develops. Remember to visit Bucks, Gwen.

Our dinner at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, prepared by Chef Greg Vassos, was amazing! The menu was limited to the finest selection of fresh foods. Patrons could choose from the four-course ala carte menu or sample a prix fixe seven course meal. My husband and I selected from the four-course offerings. Food preparation and presentation were magnificent and awakened our senses of sight and taste. We savored each course. Only the finest ingredients were used in preparation of each dish. There was nothing ordinary about it. Our entrees included the sea scallops imported from Japan and the freshest of halibut. Fresh green baby peas and roasted potatoes accompanied the scallops and fava beans and lima beans with roasted potatoes complemented the halibut. For an exceptional dining experience, visit the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. Reservations are required.

Fabulous food and service. Best foie gras ever! We did the 7 course tasting menu which showcased the chefs talents for sure; it was a great value and fun to try a variety of items, all of which were delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained every course-very friendly and professional and not stuffy. A most enjoyable experience.
