We have been to the Flourish in Newtown and enjoyed the food a lot. I did find our specific waitress there to be slightly abrupt and lacking in the area of hospitality. We decided to try the one in Holland on this specific day because they serve breakfast all day and Newtown stated they do not. The Holland location was small, but super cozy. The decor, atmosphere and vibe were very warm and welcoming. The server was very pleasant and helpful. Our kids got pancakes which were very good; big portion, fluffy and delicious. They got milkshakes which were both visually beautiful and tasty. My husband got Men e Men, a rich tomato-pepper and onion broth with egg and an insanely delish bagel type bread. It was very good but I do wish the broth were more of a gravy for sopping it all up with that bread. I ordered the garden skillet with a side of beef bacon and avocado. I felt mine, surprisingly based on the description, lacked flavor. I ended up using quite a bit of salt. The beef bacon was very delicious. I also got a cappuccino that was very good. We will definitely return!

Extremely poor service experience. We were seated as a party of 4 and given water cups but no water. Nobody acknowledged us for at least 15-20 minutes. Another table of 2 that came about 15 minutes after us was given water first. One of our orders was waffles which included butter and syrup on the menu. When it came we did not receive butter/syrup so we asked for it, which took another 10 minutes to come so the food became cold. When we asked for the check our server (who appeared to be the manager) charged us an extra $3 for the butter and syrup that was included on the menu.. we let him know and got it removed but this overall experience of extremely slow/nonexistent service was not worth the mediocre food. The mushroom soup was good.

On my last visit, I was helped by Yaroslav. Despite his young age, his empathy, communication skills, and overall attitude really impressed me. It’s rare to see that level of care and professionalism, and I truly appreciated it.

Yesterday I ordered syrnyky for lunch. I ate one, it was tasty and everything was fine. When I started eating the next one, I found a long black hair in it!
People like this are working in the kitchen — please be more careful. This is a very unpleasant situation; it’s really disgusting to find someone’s hair in your food! Hair inside the syrnyk.

Wh waited a full hour before they told us the waitress never put the order We had ordered soup so we ask to start with it, she looked at me and just ignored me... They gave us a $5.00 credit I would not go back cause the food was nothing special. I was taking my best friend to brunch for her bday.... She didn't enjoy her brunch...
the food we had in was amazing, the drinks too. I did however order mushroom soup to go and when I got home it ended up being pumpkin which after 2 spoons I found to me it's not edible.

Came here for brunch today and will definitely be back. The hostess was attentive and quick to get us seated, even with a full house. Food was warm, fresh and incredibly good. Prices were very reasonable. Ambiance was nice, seats were comfortable. Highly recommend coming here!
