I had dinner on the patio with a friend on a very nice fall evening.

Each of us ordered the New York Strip steak medium rare, with a double mashed potatoes for him, and mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese for me.

The steaks were done correctly and the cuts were decent with a little bit more fat than usual, which meant leaving some of the trimming to us.

The mashed potatoes were definitely homemade with tasty gravy.

The Mac and cheese was okay, but not amazing.

The patio is nice, but it could use some screening since many insects and a rather large spider joined us for dinner.

The server said the restaurant celebrated 2 years recently, and I found them via Facebook only a few months ago, so I wanted to give them a try.

One piece of feedback is that the cocktails are very expensive, especially for the quality. I ordered an Old Fashioned with Bulleit and it was served in a smaller, partially filled, rocks glass with a muddled cherry, non muddled orange, and garnished with orange for a whopping $19. 🤯

My friend ordered a double shot of Jameson for….$24. Which, depending on the label, is ~$30 a bottle. And I don’t think he asked for more than “Jameson.”

I get it costs a lot to run a business and everything has gone up in price, but cross shop McCleary’s, Miller’s Ale House, John Wright, Columbia Kettle Works, Longhorn, Bonefish Grill, and even Shogun at Park City, and a diner will not pay as much for better prepared cocktails.

The pulled pork was good. Chicken nachos were so dry. The meat was like beef jerky. The service was awful. Not one time did our server come to check on us or give us refills after we got our food. We had to track her down to let her know we were done and ready for the bill. Ntm the meal was short an item, so we didnt get that with our food. We let her know when we paid that we were missing a food item from both our meals. I guess if u want good service possibly sit at the bar. That seemed to be where everyone was hanging out at. Also too expensive.

We had a group of 14 so our food came out slow. French fries were cold. Server’s were very patient and congenial.
The room was very small and noisy with 14 women talking for an hour while we waited for food. I was there previously with 6 women and all was excellent.

Asked Google for the best crab cakes near me on the way to Lancaster. The Brickhouse was the answer and it was correct. Delicious crab cakes with a very fresh salad. Great place.

We went there about 2 weeks ago. We cannot wait to get back there again. There aren't enough stars to describe how great our experience was. The waitresses and cowboy Rick. Perfect!!!
