“Heart shaped pizza” for Valentines Day was way overpriced…14.99 for 4 slices that were overdone and gritty cheese. Nah, thank you. I wanted to try this restaurant for awhile now…and while it may have been just this “special” pizza, and not the norm….just makes me NOT want to try the restaurant again.

Home slices is one of the best! Joe, the owner, has been so kind, generous, and CARING for each and every person to walk in his shop! There’s a difference between places like Home Slices, and places like Fox’s. Joe has created not only an amazing restaurant environment through his own character, but his constant smile and uniqueness brings Home Slices aside from any other place I have ever been. Now that I’ve made it clear that the service is nothing short of AMAZING, let me just say, that pizza is to DIE FOR!!! One of the other customers made the comment “i took a bite and thought I died and went to heaven” and that is the easiest way to explain how intensely delicious these pies are! What a great attribute to the small town of Homer City. We love you, Home Slices!

I'm definitely going to be making the trip to Homer City more frequently! The pizza and cheesy bread were amazing! A bit thicker of a crust that I personally like, but it had such a great taste and texture that I was easily won over. Truly an exceptional pizza joint for our area!

We have been wanting to try this place since we heard such wonderful things. We ordered from DoorDash. I got a Sicilian pizza with 2 toppings. It arrived with no toppings. The crust is similar to a prebought crust. I would also compare the flavor to Fox’s pizza. The sauce was very bland. It did have fresh basil on it which is always a nice addition. We also ordered pepperoni rolls and a Stromboli. My husband did enjoy them. They looked very good. The only downside is they didn’t come with any sauce to dip them in.
