Long story short: Terrible communication and no follow through. You will never get your “refundable deposit” back. Luckily, they did not have the chance to ruin my wedding because I went with a different caterer before it was too late. We sent a “refundable” deposit to Just Ask Catering in July 2022 for my September 2023 wedding. Over the course of 3 months we tried to schedule a tasting and make tweaks to the original menu offer, but could barely get an email back. In October 2022, we asked for a refund, since we could not even get an email back, let alone get in for a tasting. She agreed. We followed up MULTIPLE TIMES, over phone, text and email over the course of literally a year, to get our deposit back. We even set up payment plans, which were never followed through. We are now in January of 2023, and have STILL not received our full deposit back. I see so many 1 star reviews about people who trusted Just Ask Catering to actually cater their wedding, and I’m SO glad we ended up going with another caterer instead.
They were an hour late and we didn't get the menu we ordered. Beware, you will be disappointed.
Just Ask Catering catered my wedding. Terrible communication throughout the entire process, unprofessional, and showed up late to the venue. I gave a final count to her a week before the wedding of 175 and 159 showed up to the wedding (we purposely gave her a higher count so we knew we would have enough for the guests and leftovers to take home) and they ran out of food, a few guests did not get everything offered and a few guests didn’t get any food at all AND the food was different the day of the wedding than the food we had tried at the tasting and the adjustments we had made to the menu after the tasting. One of her servers broke my husband’s personalized champagne glass while they were picking up plates. Stacey said that she would pay us back for that, I have sent a request over Venmo and PayPal now and have yet to receive a payment. She claims her “Venmo isn’t working”… Lastly, my family and I wanted to give her the final payment the day of the wedding, after dinner so we knew everything was up to our standards and we were provided with what she had promised BUT she said she has had problems in the past with clients not paying her the day of…. shocker.. I now know why, because she did not do her job! I am so upset that we gave her the final payment 5 days before the wedding (which was also a compromise, she wanted it 15 days prior to the wedding), we lost so much money on our end because she ran out of food but claimed that never happened. I was extremely disappointed by the way things were handled by them the day of the wedding. It’s very upsetting to think about how much time and effort I put into planning my wedding to make sure everyone had a good experience to only be let down because the trust you had in your caterer to do their job on your big day, did not. I absolutely do not recommend. Stacey is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across. You will be very disappointed if you go with Just Ask Catering for any event.

We hired Just Ask Catering for my son’s rehearsal dinner. They did a fabulous job-the food was great and beautifully presented. It is challenging to arrange an event from across the country but Stacey made it easy. Highly recommend!
We had Just Ask Catering LLC cater our daughter’s wedding reception in August 2022. Communication was timely prior to our event, and everything went extremely well throughout the afternoon and evening. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. I found Stacey and her employees to be prompt, courteous, and professional. I would recommend them for any event!
Amazing cater. They will cater to all your nerds. Weddings, graduation parties, office parties, Christmas parties too.
I used Just Ash Catering for a cocktail reception in Indiana, it was a great experience! Stacey was wonderful to work with and all of the food was delicious. I will absolutely use them again!
This was the catering service my daughter chose for her wedding. With the bill for 150 people totaling almost $8000, I had high Hope's. We were very much disappointed. Not only did they arrive late and not have enough staff, they did not bring all the appetizers they were paid to provide or the steak knives to cut the prime rib. And I asked about the knives as I went through the line after the wedding party. The prime rib was cold and not cooked. There was a brief discussion with the father of the groom at the reception about a refund. When my daughter reached out a few days later and after much back and forth a $200 refund was agreed on(not even close to cost of missing food). Here we are 4 months later and refund has never materialized. Very unprofessional and poor quality. DO NOT USE !! There are lots of other catering options please do yourself a favor and pick one of them.

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. We paid our deposit on January 25th of this year, and Stacey told us she would provide us with our contract that night after we paid our deposit. She never sent the contract. We send over 34 emails over the next months.... most with no response (they don't answer their phones either), some with empty promises to send the contract "when she gets home" that night. Numerous times we told her that we needed the contract to provide to our wedding venue, but again, nothing would show up and we would have to cancel our appointments with our venue and reschedule. FINALLY on March 20th, she sent us a contract.... but it was completely blank. No information about our big day. She asked us to sign it and send it back. I don't know about any of you, but I would never sign a blank contract, especially when it had no details about our date, what we paid... nothing. So I asked her to fill it in. Again, over a week went by with no responses. She kept making excuses, such as a broken phone, new messaging system, etc... she apologized for the lack of communication but nothing ever got better. We still didn't have a signed contract with Just Ask, and had lost all faith in the unprofessional nature of this business, and we asked for our security deposit back (the date of our event was still over a year and a few months away). She asked us to reconsider, and we stated that we didn't have confidence in their business to handle our wedding (again, no contract had been signed yet), After saying we wanted our money back, Stacey went dark. Again. We sent multiple emails, finally threatening legal action through a civil lawsuit. She would send an email to say "I will respond this evening", then nothing for days. The icing on the cake is that when she finally responded, she stated she would only give us $350 of the $500 back. We were disgusted by her lack of professionalism but she insisted that apparently the email she sent us before we paid our deposit was worth $150 of her time? After figuring out the amount of time and money we would have to waste to go through the Magistrate's office, my fiance and I agreed. Of course, that wasn't the end of it.... still took over a MONTH and multiple reminder emails again to get that money back. (We saved every one of our correspondences in the event that we ultimately needed to go to court if she didn't pay).I have NEVER dealt with a less professional company in my life. The amount of stress they caused was NOT worth it. Its unfortunate that they run such a terrible business because I hear their food is actually decent if and when they actually show up? I am still disgusted that she would not do the right thing and give our entire deposit back since ultimately we never had a contract (AND she had the audacity to tell us that had we signed that blank contract, she wouldn't have refunded ANYTHING!!!) Save your time, save your money, and save your aggravation and pick a different caterer if you are planning an important event!

My guests raved about the food at our wedding. The price was great and they bent over backwards to give us top notch service from beginning to end. They are experienced caterers that know what's up. Highly recommend. Thank you to Stacey, her husband (chef) and your crew!
Stacey and her team were very attentive, easy to work with, and all around did an amazing job. Our guests raved about their meals at our wedding for weeks afterwards. We highly recommend them!
