The food and service was excellent but the tables in the place are too close. They need to spread it out in there a little bit. VERY TIGHT. You're sitting right up on top of other people

Great food, great service, and good prices. I've always wanted to eat at a chrome diner and it did not disappoint.

We didn't care for the quality of the food. The wait staff was very nice, and the service was great. The decor is cute, but really needs a clean-up (old, yellowing sticky tape on the walls), and some of the vinyl benches need replacing. Not a "return-to" place for us personally.

Wonderful waitstaff host and manager. The food has always been great diner food and the banana splits are to die for!

Soooo..... ate here for the first time last night and while we loved the old nostalgic 1950's atmosphere and motif, we definitely didn't like the food. We ordered our steaks to be cooked a certain way, but they ended up way overcooked. The lettuce was brown, my wife's potato salad was brown and off in flavor. To be honest with you all the food had no flavor. Nursing home food has more flavor than that, I could have cooked a Stoufers microwave dinner at home which would have been better.
The worst part of the experience was when we first walked in and seen the whole cook line with no hair protection and definitely not wearing any food safety gloves. That is how people get sick. We employed the staff to please at least have them put hand protection on while handling our food. Tha staff including the manager Darlene had the looks and expressions on their face like they could have cared less.
We will never patronize this establishment again, and encourage others not to as well. For a guest check of almost $40, you would have thought the food would have at least had some flavor

My sister and I went for supper following a concert on a Sunday. We arrived around 6/630pm. We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth by a lovely young woman.
Our waiter was attentive and our meals arrived quickly. We both opted for cheese steak. I had mine with fries and my sister with onion rings. A pickle and small container of coleslaw came out first. For drinks I ordered the coffee shake made with their cold brew. It was very foamy and delicious. It was served in a pop mug and came with the container the shake was made in on the side
The onion rings were huge and delicious. The cheese steaks were very good as were the fries. We couldn't finish and took the leftovers home.
The menu puts you in mind of what a menu looked like back in the day. The restaurant is 50s on the outside and in. Cannot wait to return.
We came in from seeing Home Free in Lancaster on route 30. Definitely worth the drive.
I believe they close at 730 pm on Sundays and I want to say 8 otherwise.
Staff were very nice. Decor you will want to stop and look at even on the way to the restroom. The restroom was clean. Two stalls and two sinks. There is also a hand drier.
Stop in and bring your phone for pictures.

We are traveling though the area and happened upon wimpy and Dee’s diner and are we glad we did. I wish we were not 8 hours away or we would be here often. We got the Ruben with the French onion soup. This was some of the best French onion soup we have had full of onions and the broth was amazing. The Ruben was great. The server was fast and friendly. We are glad we stopped.
Parking: There is tractor trailer parking in the back lot.

This place was great!! 1950's ste diner!! The decor was excellent as well as our meal! We were in the area of Honey Brook, PA, coming from Pittsburgh, PA. We traveled her to get a puppy from a Honey Brook Resident and stopped in here for lunch after the 4hour trip. It did not disappoint!! Just what one would expect, and more, for a 50's style diner!! The folks who work there were just as incredible!! Will definitely return if we are ever back in the area!!
Nice place for a quick bite. Locals love this place for the convenience of where it's located.
