While the food is always delicious and usually prepared in a timely manor, I just went today (10/05/25) to pick up sushi for my family and I for a Sunday dinner. I had a gift card that are universally accepted at all restaurants and stores. I went to use the gift card to pay for the food and the owner takes the card “swipes it one time”, and says “it declined” and that they don’t accept gift cards. It’s not the fact that the gift card didn’t work properly “even though it was a full gift card worth $50”, the rude and outright disrespectful tone the woman owner used with me was completely out of line. She was trying to explain to me how to use a gift card which I thought was dehumanizing and not something I needed to be dealing with on a Sunday night. I can’t get over the fact that she swiped it, saw it decline for some reason, and then say she doesn’t accept them. You were wrong in every right to not try it again after refusing to swipe it a second time. Please be more mindful of your tone considering you are a very well known restaurant that many people in Huntingdon Valley eat at. Get better!

Sushiman never disappoints, I literally eat here at least twice a week , I’m totally in love with sushi! Always a pleasant experience he is so cool 😎 called at the last min made reservations for a bday dinner and Sushiman made it happen!🤗🤗🤗

Food is amazing. They have a fantastic selection of sushi and the hibachi is delicious as well. It's in a quaint area, and there's additional parking in the back. It's not ideal for big parties, as its a small restaurant, but a group of 15 is do-able. It's my family's go to spot for the occasional Sunday lunch.
My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch at Sushiman. Overall we had a good experience. The food we ordered was nice and we did not have to wait too long for it to come out. Place was also clean and did not have any smells. The only thing that I did not like was waiter rushing to place the order as soon as you sat down like I was reading the menu in my car. After placing the order, waiters don’t check on you much afterwards.
