our first experience at the christmas pop up was really fun. The decorations and set up looked amazing and it was a very fun atmosphere. The food was excellent but is definitely a shareable portion! However, the only downfall that we did not understand is that if it does not open until 4pm how were people already being sat in the restaurant at 3:30 since reservations are not allowed during these events? Our family has been coming to Northstar for a few years now for their Halloween pop up. We would have a day full of adventure and end our day at this restaurant. This year we were really disappointed there was no buffet and the pop up is much smaller than previous years. We will more than likely not come back for the Christmas pop up either. A notice should have been posted on your Facebook page about the change from buffet to menu.
We brought our softball team, after a cancelled game in Oakdale. We originally had a reservation for around 730. We all arrived around 615, they found a spot for us and quickly took orders and made us feel very welcome. Great experience and very good service. The owner and our waitress were both wonderful.
