Outside bar was great. Completely ruined the experience by going inside. The bartender was one of the most miserable bartenders we had ever met. Then $30 for 2 of the most disgusting “espresso martinis” served in plastic cups. Save your time and money.

Went to take the kids to the pop up Christmas pulled in at 4 when they opened parking lot was full people had there names on the wait at 2:30 not sure how that happened when they don’t open till 4 the wait time then was two hours I would suggest for holidays you take reservations then people won’t waist their time attempting to go. Hopefully next season you will do the reservations I suggest look into open table, or call in for the reservation and once your full people can try for another day.

I had planned a special trip to surprise my mom with dinner at the Northstar Restaurant. We live in Hadley, PA, and despite a winter storm, we made the hour and 40-minute drive because I had heard great things and wanted to do something meaningful for her. Before making the trip, I carefully checked the restaurant’s Facebook page multiple times, which clearly stated that reservations were not accepted and that seating was first come, first served. Based on that information, we planned to arrive shortly after opening. Due to unexpected road conditions, we arrived at approximately 4:12 PM. The restaurant’s posted opening time was 4:00 PM. When we walked in, the gentleman at the hostess stand asked if we wanted to be added to the waitlist and informed us the wait would be about an hour and a half. When I politely questioned this—given that reservations were supposedly not taken—he became extremely rude and defensive. A family standing behind us mentioned they had arrived at 3:30 PM to put their name on the waitlist, something that was never indicated anywhere on the restaurant’s Facebook page. If names can be added before opening, that should be clearly communicated to avoid confusion. What made the situation even more frustrating was that there were at least six empty tables visible at the time. When I explained that we had driven over an hour and a half in worsening winter conditions and were disappointed we couldn’t stay, the response I received was simply, “Don’t know what to tell you.” Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing—not because of the wait itself, but because of the lack of transparency and the dismissive attitude we were met with. Clear communication and basic courtesy go a long way, especially when customers make the effort to travel a significant distance in poor weather. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had hoped for.

I don't mind waiting for food and even if it gets mixed up, we can adjust. What I can't get past is having pizza thrown down on the table and not a manger or the owner came over. Throw a pop up bar on Tues and can't staff it . One food runner.

our first experience at the christmas pop up was really fun. The decorations and set up looked amazing and it was a very fun atmosphere. The food was excellent but is definitely a shareable portion! However, the only downfall that we did not understand is that if it does not open until 4pm how were people already being sat in the restaurant at 3:30 since reservations are not allowed during these events? The other is while we waited in the bar building that was drinks only, I ordered 2 cokes for my kids, and had to close out and re purchase the same drinks again when our table was called in the restaurant. Alcohol is understandable, but there should be refills on fountain drinks since its all one place. We are going to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the outside, because it looks really relaxing.

The Christmas themed drinks were amazing. Food menu was limited and a little on the expensive side.
