“We brought our softball team, after a cancelled game in Oakdale. We originally had a reservation for around 730. We all arrived around 615, they found a spot for us and quickly took orders and made us feel very welcome. Great experience and very good service. The owner and our waitress were both wonderful.“

“I cannot stress enough how amazing your restaurant and staff are. We’ve been patrons for years and have never experienced any issues. Our most recent two visits with our 3 young grandchildren were effortless! We love the food and staff so much. I will mention Vince as he waited on us both times and is so attentive as ALL the staff we have had. We love the mother/daughter staff, but I regret that I don’t know their names. My personal favorite is the custom calzone. I asked for thin dough and both meat and marinara sauce on the side. I was delighted that it was all perfect and I took half home! “Thank god I found this place before I left to drive back for Michigan! That sandwich was absolutely amazing, the bread was soo soft, they load up the meat, the veggies are fresh! Don't get me started on the bakery!! Their cookies were fantastic, but haven't gotten to the cinnamon roll yet. They have an icing frosting and a cream cheese frosting for the cinnamon rolls. For cookies I had their pecan, chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, and white macadamia nut and they had so many other ones. They were all so soft and flavorful! Only regret is that I didn't get more. “I do love a good diner and this is very certainly one of them. When the food brings you back to your childhood memories — that’s culinary art at its finest.

Absolute gem of a place, lovely staff, and friendly diners around you. The food is unpretentious, simple, fresh, and perfect. Gave me comfort I really needed.

(Even if I am criminal for ordering meatloaf dinner at breakfast 😎)

“Treated my son and myself to the lamb chop special. We both ordered medium rare. The chops were done perfectly! Our server Abby provided exemplary service -- friendly, speedy and attentive. Definitely the best meal I've had at this location. I wholeheartedly recommend the lamb while it's available.“

“We just stopped in for the first time to see what kind of oils they had. Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about the bed and breakfast and engaged in polite conversation. He made us feel welcome. We ended up buying 2 bottles of wine. If it wasn’t for Kevin and his amazing service, we would have browsed and left. “We went for dinner Jan . 7 2023 well was disappointing on everything . Sat down had the rolls which were good but no silverware. Order our food my 8 oz Filet came out butter-flyed topped with mushrooms which I nevered ordered. I cut into it and it wasn’t middle rare . They took it back brought me another Filet which wasn’t medium rare , The man said I’ll get you another one , I was so hungry I told him no . I added shrimp to my order , the shrimp was the only thing on the plate by it self . I ate them right away which was cold !. Got the bake potato around 4 minutes or after the Food got to the table. My sisters food wasn’t hot cold meat . The total as around $ 55.00 or so . I’ve never been so dissatisfied with everything should have taken a meal of the bill . I will be back I enjoy the friendly people and usually have a great meal !!!“
