What a GEM of a spot! The food was fresh & plentiful! Ordered Eggs, Home Fries, Ham & Rye Toast, WOW!!!! Home fries were plentiful, fresh & hot, Country Ham was ginormous! Will be back!!!

The diner is quite small and looks dingy. The food was ok but definitely not great. Portion sizes were bigger than the normal size. I had the hot meat loaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf was edible but definitely needed some spices and it would be so much better. My husband had a burger and fries. The burger was way smaller than the bun and was very thin...again it needed spices. My sister had the hot roast beef sandwich. She is if the opinion that if a restaurant can't make a good hot roast beef sandwich then nothing else on the menu would be good either and she never goes back to a place that can't make a good one. She told me she wouldn't go back. The waitresses were friendly and attentive which is why I gave service a 4.

This place is EXCELLENT! What a great diner, classic breakfast. Staff were very nice and welcoming, and it was absolutely packed (but we got seated within minutes). I only wish I had more room to try their desserts.
