By far the worst experience I’ve endured at a restaurant! 7 people showed up and received 0 service! 10 mins for anyone to acknowledge we were there, then another 20 mins to just receive stale chips and marinara sauce! If I could give this place 0 stars that would be too high of a score!

Food is mediocre at best. Don't go on mondays. Owners have only one server working Mondays. Food has gone down hill over the last year

As a full-time traveler, it's rare that I review a restaurant; I am, however, making an exception for El Tesoro due primarily to an utter lack of cleanliness and attention to the details of food safety. Every worker and owner of a restaurant should be good stewards for the health and safety of their patrons. No exception.
The bar top and seats were sticky to the touch, which could be explained in part by the open windows and doors. But, when our food was delivered and we set about to eat, it was as though a trumpet had sounded revelry to call forth an army of cockroaches intent on sharing our meals with them. Each of us was able to eat about a third of our meal before they came from the ceiling, from under the wood trim at the column, and even from inside the blender.
Situations such as these evidence a failure in care on many levels, including the county health department.

If you could give the place a really good scrubbing it would be more pleasant. However I will say the waitress was really nice and good at her job

I had checked reviews online as we are out of towners but this restaurant was barely a 3 & I was disappointed.
No ac & it was a hot day.
The beans were like soup. Runny, needed a spoon
They were out of sour cream!
Therefore, a 3 at best.

I'm not sure what has happened to this place. The food used to be absolutely amazing. My husband and I ate here regularly from 2020 -until late 2023, then we moved. We were in the area and I couldn't wait to eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant, what a big fat disappointment. The food was just disgusting. The cheese dip is more like cheese whiz, it was thick and cold. The salsa is a completely different recipe/brand. They were out of chorizo, so I couldn't get my favorite tacos. I decided to order a burrito instead. I told them that I didn't want any beans. It had refried beans mixed with soggy rice in it and a disgusting sauce across the top. I've had this burrito many times and it's always been delicious. I sent it back. They tried to tell me that it didn't have refried beans in it...well, they made me a new one and this one was made correctly, as in, it didn't have the refried beans mixed with the rice.....but the sauce was still gross, the chicken had no flavor and it was missing the guacamole (they were out of it) I just couldn't eat it. Now, the good... The waiter, Devonte, was great. Poor guy was working all by himself. He was very apologetic, but it certainly wasn't his fault as he had my order written up correctly. Needless to say, I will never go back again and my good memories are gone.

What happened to the quality of your food? My refried beans were served with a spoon. Makes sense they were soup. The rice no flavor. Was like microwave steamed rice. I had the flour tacos. Was over powered from onions. Took the onions off and my plate was all onions. The chicken had no flavor at all. The salsa was cold and was so watery. You couldn’t tell I was eating at a Mexican restaurant. And yes it wasn’t clean. The floor was dirty and the seats wasn’t wiped. And my daughter and I was there a little before noon. Left our food. And did tip waitress.

Friday 4/12/24 6:47 8 of us. We ordered corn dogs for kids, no corn dogs available, order delivered corn dogs on the table! For $15.00 I got 7 small shrimp with my Cameron’s a la Diablo! One order stated pineapple in dish, no pineapple in dish. We had to ask 3 times for ketchup. Our order of Guacamole was very small. The bill, $99.89!! So not worth it!
