Briefly stopped by culps this Saturday to get a drink with my old college pal to reminisce. We went a little after 10. He bought a round of the special which total about $8. I then bought us one a little later, however my total was $14.50. The bartender explained it was because it was a double. I didn’t ask for a double and explained this to her but she kept telling me the up charge was for the double. Train your bartenders better for the love of god. We left after that because those drinks had far too much alcohol in them than what we ordered. Not safe and also ripped us off.

I really like culps they have great drink deals and a good atmosphere, the only thing I would say could improve is the music. My friends and I love coming here but we always leave because the music that they play sometimes kills the vibes

Reasonably priced food and service is always very friendly (in stark contrast to Wolfie's down the street). Upstairs is a fun place to party and downstairs is a good spot to relax. Happy hour is the always a good time too!

3 of us went up town late afternoon on a Saturday before a dinner crowd even started. We were only served 2 drink before being told they would not serve us any more. We were laughing and having a good time, but nothing out of hand. Will not be giving this place any more of our business.
