The chicken sandwich is yummy. Zucchini sticks are terrific. The pizza is very thin and crispy.

This place succeeds at being exactly what it wants to be: a great downtown (albeit outskirts) public house. They even adhere to English tradition. Pub closes at 12pm...awesome-sauce-alicious!

I as well as my cousin and my aunt went to HR Steinhouse on the first day they opened. Typically I would expect to see some areas where improvement is necessary, however I was completely blown away. The food and atmosphere were fantastic and unique, the staff was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. With all of that said, they could serve dog food and I would go back. Our server Zac was one of the kindest, most welcoming servers that has ever waited on me. Coming from a waitress, Zac is absolutely phenomenal and made us feel like we were his number one priority at all times. It was hard to believe the place had just opened that day, it seemed as if it had been running seamlessly for years.

And love the fact they are locally owned! The sign inside reads "Free Beer Tomorrow". Some of us"grew up" inside these walls in the early eighties under the original HR days, where you knew not to "forget beer for the wife". Best Wishes to you and thanks for trying something a little different. I'll adjust to the new variety of food, already have and see you again.
