NO! AUTOMATIC ZERO stars...phone number is not in service; website has outdated information. can't order on order save, India grill website, DOORDASH or grub hub. even though the website recommends order save for online order. the number they provide everywhere is NOT in service. this used to be my favorite place in Indiana when I was in college (2015-2019). last time I got it, the rice was clearly the cheapest white rice they could buy...not basmati, not jasmine...this place absolutely went downhill. ZERO STARS. I don't know how this happened but I'm sorry to say I'll never return after tonight! Who is running this place? I work a full-time job and could do better than you.

Very disappointed that the rice that comes with the orders is not basmati. It's a weird, bland, crunchy long grain rice, kind of difficult to stomach. I've ordered twice now and got it both times.

I've been to a hundred Indian restaurants in my life. This one is pretty good. Among the top 10% of Indian restaurants I've ever been to. I'm used to living in big cities with dozens of them to choose from.I am absolutely happy that a small PA town like this has the opportunity to have great Indian food without having to travel far.I am shocked and appalled that there are people in this review section complaining about food quality. If you want Indian food that meets your ultra high standard of food quality then go to the store and make it yourself or drive an hour away to find someplace else.

We've been getting take out here for years. Absolutely delicious! Never disappointed with the main dishes --Tikka, Korma, Saag, Dal, it's all great. Naan is always fresh. Our only complaint is that the rice has recently changed. Please bring back the old rice!

Worst food ever I had in my life.. I ordered chicken biryani and tandoori chicken. It’s not really how Indian biryani is made or even looks. Probably they need to change the name of their restaurant than keeping it India grill and cheating public. No where they can come near Indian food. Tandoori smells old and can’t forgive the way they made the chicken biryani. Beware that it’s not really an Indian restaurant as the name says, why they want to misguide people? I never left single star for my review, but there’s not a minus star and hence leaving the minimum star. I spent around $40 and the food just went to trash. I traveled all the way from Johnstown to here today 11/3/23, to get a trash food. Really disappointed. The restaurant only offers take away, neither the front desk nor the restaurant looks clean and appetizing. Stay away. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Just arrived hungry at Indiana, PA from Ohio and being a Bengali myself, I was delighted to find Mr Rahman’s India Grill Restaurant a block away. Ordered 106$ worth food for my family went and brought it home. This is my experience:1. The mango lassi has gone bad atleast 72-hrs back2. The goat biryani was made with not basmati but some very fat and overboiled rice. The pieces of goat were uncooked and we could smell the goat on each piece. No saffron, no smell, no texture - the 20$ biryani was a second disaster.3. The rice was same - fat grains and heavily overcooked4. The chicken korma had to be cooked atleast a week back and stored in fridge n re-heated. Again not edible5. The goat curry also reeked of the smell of the animal, was undercooked and also atleast a week old.The only edible things were the 5$ frenchfries that my kid ate and the 6$ veg pkoras which me n my wife ate.We are now sitting with 4 cheese nuns and onion nuns wondering how this restaurant is allowed to sell any food at all. Period my worst worst experience in any restaurant ever in my 41 years. This restaurant should be closed and Mr Rahman should not be cookimg or sellimg food. This is defrauding customers and should be penalized.I will be surprised if you eat here and do not fall seriously ill, besides loaing every penny you pay. I had to write this review because this happened to us in the last hour and this is criminal.

I ordered a chicken biryani. I understand that this is a rice dish, but it literally only had 4-5 chunks of chicken in the entire container. It seemed to be what equaled to about 1/2 a chicken breast cut into chunks. I’ve never had this dish made with chunks of chicken breast before, and it came with no accompanying toppings(cilantro, onion, yogurt sauce, ect.) The dish was $18.99. While waiting for my food I heard him fire up a microwave, which explained the soggy rice. I hate leaving a bad review but this is insane. He is the only Indian restaurant in the area and seems to be price gouging. The food itself tasted GREAT, but wasn’t enough to keep a good rating. I hope he changes his ways in the future.

Despite some peoples comical poetic one star reviews, this place is good. Quality food at a good price.

When we lived in Indiana, my boyfriend and I ordered from India Grill every week! We moved, but it’s so good that when I was traveling through Indiana today, I made a pit stop and ordered four butter chickens…one for us to eat and another for us to freeze! Amazing food and even more amazing service!

Nice little place to get your lunch from it's a satisfying cultural experience, I tried the chicken tikka masala curry and it was wonderful, a bit pricey but for what I paid I got enough to make a mountain on my plate and its a small business so i understand

I am sorry but this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The quality of food, I dont think the owners would eat, let alone serve to customers. The meat is old, flavoring bland, and I immediately had to use the restroom after eating the food. Something is terribly not right about this place. I am even considering calling the authorities. By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, in anywhere around the world. Hands down abominable and unredeemable

I ordered lamb biryani and it was terrible. The meat was so chewy and dry. Most pieces of the “lamb” were not eatable parts of the meat, they were pieces of bone and gristle. The meat did not taste like lamb at all and I know how lamb tastes because that’s the main red meat that I mostly eat/cook. I also ordered vegetable biryani and it was not good at all either. All the vegetables were overcooked. It was a very bad experience and I am disappointed.
