Best chicken wing dust I have ever had. Wings were done to perfection. Great atmosphere in this rural pub. All the food I ever ordered was done extremely well. Give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised!

They are always busy which says a lot for what the new owners have done with the place. Totally redone on the inside and the food is phenomenal. Everyone you interact with is friendly and efficient.
Really nice place. You wouldn't think it was in the middle of nowhere when walking in! Food is really good, and the servers are super friendly. Beautiful view if you go out on their back deck!
Kid-friendliness: It has a Bar and Grill vibe. So if you would take your kids to Chili's this place is no problem.

I usually enjoy my experiences at The Rose Inn, but our last visit on 8/24/24 wasn’t very pleasant. We were a group of 5, one of the group ordered butter garlic wings, the server tried serving these over the head of another person, spilling butter and garlic all down that person. Literally from head to toe. ( fortunately it was not hot butter). That party in our group was originally offered 10% off. Then when he showed how upset he was they ended with their drinks free and 25% off. Still not acceptable but it didn’t appear anyone in charge wanted to speak about this. In my opinion their entire bill should have been compensated and also an offer for cleaning of their clothes…we all know butter doesn’t come out of clothing well! I tried reaching out to the owner with no response.
The food is good mostly. I feel like service is hit or miss.

Adorable roadside restaurant with a variety of common dishes with unique twists! Garlic knots fried like sopapias, BLT but as bites on a kabob.
We loved it and sat outside. Service was great, though they weren't very busy. Would totally come back, but just passing through, so if you are too I'd recommend the stop!

This little hole in the wall was an absolute gem to eat lunch today. It was a recommendation from a local, and the only disappointment for me is there isn't one in Ohio.I was welcomed and served by Cleo. (I hope I spelled that correctly.) She took some time to make some recommendations and I eventually settled on the steak hoagie with their crispy fries and beer cheese.The hoagie was delicious. It melts in your mouth, but the bread has a nice crispness on the outside. Get it with the pepper jack cheese is my recommendation.But the best part were the fries and beer cheese. They were light, crispy, and the cheese is perfect for dipping the fries in.Could not have had a better lunch and experience.If for any reason I find myself anywhere near this area, I will go out of my way to stop in to The Rose for a meal again.
