My husband and I found this wonderful gem of a place after getting our daughter settled into college. When I say absolutely amazing I mean it. From the greeting we received at the door from the owner to the conversations with him and other staff we felt at home away from home. The food was delicious appetizers to main course. Trotter's is a MUST if your in Indiana,Pa and love great food and a welcoming atmosphere! : Crab cakes, Calamari- Lobster tails, Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and fried zucchini.Kid-friendliness: There were a few children dining with family's. Really for evince everyone.Parking: Open parking lot

My husband and I had terrific steaks here tonite! And my husband loved the oysters! If you are into a fast food environment,or fast food prices, this isn't the place for you. If you want a nice paced dinner where you aren't rushed, and looking for relaxed , catch up time with your dinner partner with a nice bottle of wine, then give it a try!! Next to some of our great Italian restaurants in town, Trotters is Indiana's best restaurant, hands down!

This place was a wonderful find. The place was beautiful. Sara was wonderful she was pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. Eric, the executive chef, came to our table to ask how the food was, and let me tell you, it was wonderful. Even a day later, I was still thinking about the taste of that steak. If you are not a local there, you may not know about it, but trust me, look them up. If you are in Indiana, you won't be disappointed. My husband and I will return when we are back in the area

A rare find. I have not one complaint. This restaurant was exceptional! From the first step in door, the waitress was efficient and bubbly. We were on a quest for oysters and ate a dozen of the very fresh raw ones and 2 dozen oyster Rockefeller that melted in your mouth. Scallops were made to perfection. We ended the meal with the turtle creamy cheese cake. The executive chef took time to speak to us. He has a very doable business plan and I wish him all the best for the restaurants success. I will return.

We went to Trotters tonight. Started off when we walked in the door, unknowingly the owner was behind us as we were discussing the special. He squeezed past us and turned around grabbed two menus and seated us himself. Very kind and welcoming man. Our waitress was very busy as there happened to be a call off, but her service of everyone wasn't effected. She ran all over that floor waiting on everyone with kindness and patience while she also was making drinks, bussing tables, and being hostess to incoming customers. Then the food came. We got the surf and turf specials. It consisted of lobster tail, ribeye steak, parmesan risotto and bacon wrapped asparagus. It is the best meal I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. During our meal the executive chef came out also and introduced himself and checked on how we were liking everything. He was thankful for our praise. He continued to make his way through the other guests in the restaurant. When they were able both the chef and owner were helping the waitress on the floor. It was very clear to me how much they care about making the customer experience a great one. We will definitely be going back and I would recommend them to anyone in and around Indiana.

Read some previous reviews and was hesitant, glad I decided to come. Husband started with lobster bisque then had seafood deluxe both outstanding. I had the 10oz ribeye which was so tender. The staff was efficient and very pleasant. I recommend.

Food was decent, not the BEST, but good. Have had some stuff from eat'npark taste better. The Waitress was rude...both times. Two different waitresses. Amazing atmosphere though aside from that!! Nice place to go maybe once a year for a special occasion to feel pampered. The snobby waitresses go along with the rich feel of the environment at least LOL

Trotter's is an interesting place. Inside, it is extremely clean and well taken care of. My initial thoughts were the food was expensive, and by expensive, I mean about 5+ dollars more for a burger, steak, etc. - but going into this, I wasn't paying so I figured I didn't have much to lose.We ordered food on a Saturday night and it took over an hour to cook our main entrees. There were a total of two other parties there, so this was shocking. Initial thoughts were the price was high, and the food must be cooked fresh, so I assumed that we would be getting something amazing out of the kitchen.I ordered a burger. Initial note was the bun was extremely dry (not really fresh). The burger was also dry and a bit chewy. Portions of fries were lacking. I peeked at a few other folks plates in my party and it looked like portions were just not on par in comparison with other restaurants. Assuming bread or salads come with pasta is a no brainer, but not here - there are few, if any sides offered for "free". I knew in my mind that if I bought burger from the supermarket and grilled my own burgers, it would taste better than this. For a party of 4 the cost was close to $150, which was really out of this world for a few main entrees and an appetizer. In the end, it really amazes me how a restaurant can charge this much money for food that I would consider to be subpar. There are many, many better options out there.

Very good food, not just the steaks. Good selection of wines and very nice ambiance. Service is excellent and parking is very convenient. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. This is our favorite restaurant in Indiana

I really had an amazing birthday meal at Trotters today! My family and friends love the atmosphere and menu they offer! The owner, Neil Balcerak, always greets our table and makes sure everything is perfect. The head chef, Erik Julia, is so personable, introduces himself, and asks us if we enjoyed our meal. It honestly is such a professional restaurant! They even brought out creme brulee and sang Happy birthday! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. If you are looking for an amazing restaurant to wine and dine or to celebrate a special event...Trotter's in Indiana is the place to go! You won't be disappointed! Neil even took a picture with us for my special occassion! Thank you Trotter's for everything tonight! You made my birthday so special for me! It warmed my heart and my belly!Kid-friendliness: My kids love their food!!! They love their dessert too!Parking: Plenty!

Husband and I just left. It was our first visit and we will be coming back! I got the surf and turf special. 100 out of 10 stars. Everything was cooked to perfection. The thing that blew me away the most was how incredible the lobster was, sweet, cooked to perfection, buttery and melted in my mouth, not chewy or rubbery at all. They also make a damn good dirty Martini. Definitely check this place out you will not be disappoint! Server's and chef were super nice and professional. I can't say enough good things about this place. This is the perfect place for date night, anniversaries, or just because the food and atmosphere is amazing.
