I use to love coming to this restaurant back when I was in college in 2011-2013.. ate there very frequently, would take my parents there when they would come to visit, well sadly things seemed to have changed for the worse. I was sick all week wanted something light to eat like a salad and soup. My wife wanted a cheesesteak. We ordered the food for delivery, but very disappointed when the food came. I have been ordering cheesesteaks the same way for 20 years now, no Matter where I go. I only ever get Cheese, steak, and mayo. When it arrived there was almost no steak on the sub. And it had tons of mushrooms, lettuce, and tomatoes on it? My wife was pretty upset because it had no meat on it, and every single topping I asked not to be on it.
I called the restaurant to complain, and ask that they messed up the order to send me another sub.. I was speaking to the same person the 1st and 2nd time calling, and instead of apologizing, they kind of argued that “that’s how all their hogies come”. I simply responded, that’s not what I ordered and there is almost no meat on the sub. They responded with, “our subs only use one slice of steak” if you want double meat it would be an up charge?! This is a $13 cheesesteak… they agreed to send the other one back?? I would have rather given it to my dog, since I tipped the delivery driver $10. The second cheesesteak was made right but just as bad, as there again was the smallest amount of steak in it as you can see in the pictures.
The soup was chicken noodle that I’m pretty sure came from a can, and the salad was mediocre at best.. but was definitely not worth $14. I ended up spending $50 for a cheesesteak, salad, and soup. Sadly, I do not think we will be going back, since It was once one of my favorite restaurants here.

Came here with my field hockey team after the game and we got 11 pizzas. They were friendly, efficient and the pizzas were awesome! We got there around 845 pm and they were so upbeat and such a nice staff. It was the same way when we called. You guys rock!! Thank you!!

Allowed me and my Coworker to both place orders on 9/18. Took the money from our bank accounts, and the place is CLOSED, no mention online, NOTHING.
I will be filing a formal complaint and a chargeback with my bank, this is completely unacceptable
Editing my initial review to reflect an even worse experience I had today regarding this matter…
On 9/18 I placed a pickup order for 1PM. With no mention that the restaurant had no power on the website, Facebook, ordering system, OR EVEN THEIR FRONT DOOR, I did not get my food as ordered. They still charged my account despite me not being able to even receive the food I paid for.
On 9/18 at roughly 3PM~ I got a call from Venice regarding the order I placed and they asked if I still wanted it. I said no and they said they would cancel it out.
Fast forward to 9/19 at 1:45PM I get a text message saying my order is ready for pickup, I did not place a new order… they took my order from 9/18, moved it to 9/19, made the order, and still charged me for it despite saying I no longer wanted it.
I called in when I got this messages and the lady on the phone proceeded to say they had no way to notify anyone of their inability to process orders yesterday (the owner was very quick to respond to my complaint through their website, meaning they had access to the internet) and said they couldn’t even put something on the front door describing the situation…
Absolutely appalled at how this situation was cancelled, all it would have taken was a “sorry, we will do better next time, and we have refunded your order” for me to have deleted this review. But not this review is staying up. I am in disbelief at the lack of accountability and the inability to communicate a power outage in the age of cellphones and wireless data…

My go-to was always papa johns in the area. Until I decided to try Venice Pizzeria. Now I order them everytime I get a craving for pizza. I personally think they are the best around and more bang for your buck. They blow primanti bros, papa johns and pizza hut out of the water. (sorry not sorry.) If you're looking to try another place for pizza, I would highly recommend them. Parking lot is huge & staff is great too.

I love their pizza and cheese fries. The only problem I have is the delivery man. I usually pick my food up, but today I had my nephew and two nieces. I only ordered a lg pizza and cheese fries. It was a young white man chubby guy with a small pick up truck. He called my phone to let me know he was out side. So I’m thinking he’s at my door inside the apartment. Nooo he’s still in his truck, so I go to the front door and he waited inside of his truck thinking I’m walk to his truck across the street. When he realized, I wasn’t moving he got out the truck and hand me my food. Now I used to be pizza delivery guy 4 times for almost 11years. I’m 38years , I don’t call nobody unless you don’t answer the door. I’m right at your door inside the apartment or whatever. I paid this man $8 in tips and was charge $4 in delivery fee. He’s young and lazy, I don’t care how busy it was today on a Sunday it’s your job and do it right please. I know next time if I have to do that , I’m not paying no tip online.
