Fran provides excellent customer service. She will consult with you to get the vision of what you want, and do a great job creating a professional cake. The taste and flavor are just as good as the presentation. She also delivered from two towns over, and was on-time. She is highly reliable, respectful, and we would highly recommend her. This was for our wedding, and I will be a customer in the future for other occasions as well.

Cakes by Colby provided cake for our daughter's wedding. Simply gorgeous as a display. The cake was delicious. We chose Colby's after an exhaustive search of all the options available in the area. The bride and groom to be didn't hesitate once trying these samples. The cake was delivered on schedule and coordinated seamlessly with our wedding venue event coordinator. Fran took personal responsibility to deliver her cake and didn't let construction traffic get in her way. The cake was stunning and the taste matched. Would contract again. would highly recommend.

Fran at Cakes by Colby helped me design a wedding Charlotte, which is a custard surrounded by lady fingers. (My husband isn't big on cake and had dreamed of one of these.) She wasn't timid of the challenge and it came out just beautifully. She even delivered it to Harrisburg, though she didn't live locally, because she had a relative there, and so the cake arrived flawlessly. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone wanted who wants to design and implement the cake of their dreams!

Cakes by Colby made what seemed like a difficult choice a super easy one! From moment one walking in the door, you could see the artistry in her work and where her specialties lay. The tasting was a delight, and if anything we ate waaaaay too much while were there, but it was all so incredibly good! Fast forward to the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch and the cake was absolutely gorgeous! She took reference images we provided and went above and beyond, it was elegant without being pretentious and truly lovely on top of being delicious as well. Our guests raved about it too. Can’t recommend Fran and Cakes by Colby enough!!

The work that Fran does is amazing. I cannot recommend her cakes enough, which include hand made sugar flowers that look like the real deal (see photo!). Also, the cake itself is incredible and we received so many compliments. She has you come in for a tasting of a few mini cakes with a few different fillings/frostings so you can make your choice. She also delivered the cake and set it up herself.

AND it was gluten free since I have a gluten allergy. After a lovely cake tasting that was set up for us, we went with the lemon zest with raspberry filling and it was divine.Our most favorite feature, however, is Fran's amazing talent at making sugar flowers. These flowers look so real and truly turn the cake into a work of art. And, if you do not refrigerate the flowers, they will last for years as a keepsake!Lastly, on oue one year wedding anniversary, Fran plans to bake us an anniversary cake as part of the wedding package! My husband and I could not have been happier with our decision to work with Cakes by Colby!
