We weren't blown away, but it was ok. We were REALLY cold, though. Sat by the windows and it was snowing and windy - not much insulation ? a big old fireplace would have been awesome. My husband got the prawns with angel hair (but they were shrimp, not prawns) and I got the pot roast. For the price, I felt the portions were a tiny bit on the small side. My pot roast was very good but could have used some gravy on the mashed potatoes. We would probably try somewhere else before going back but would consider meeting friends if they wanted to try it out.
Very generous portions. The spinach artichoke dip and the bread they serve with it is delicious. I had the chicken salad and it was terrific and again the portions were very generous. The staff sat us quickly and the food was served in a timely fashion. We will definitely be back.
Always up to try new places. Figured we would go and check this out. Right off the bat things started bad. Walked in the front door waited 4 to 5 minutes to be seated there was only four tables in the whole place that were occupied no reason to wait that long. We were asked where we wanted to sit so we decided the bar. Small three booths and counter for the bar. The waiter brought us water right away and menus but took forever to come back and ask for if we wanted something. We decided to order zucchini (very good) to start but figured he would come back and ask us if we want it on entree. Bartender / waiter went back over to the bar, quickly waited on the two gentlemen at the bar. We never once seen him go to the kitchen nor did he enter anything into the computer. 20 minutes past finally the bartender went to the kitchen came back out with nothing continue talking to the people at the bar. Couple minutes later went back to the kitchen. Came over and put our plate down along with two additional plates to eat from and apologized that the first order was burnt. Quickly set that on the table and ran away never asked us if we wanted more drinks or even entrees to eat. The plate on the top for us to snack off of was dirty silverware had food stuck to it. Bartender came over after we were done eating our entree asked if we needed a box never asked us if we wanted a dinner or a lunch. When we told him that we wanted to order he said hold on a minute I'll be right back. Went over to the bar waited on those two gentlemen again which had to tell him how to make a drink so it took longer. Came back over and then took our order. I got the horseradish salmon and vegetables, very good large portion but the beans were cold. My boyfriend got the pineapple lime rice and shrimp, said the shrimp was very good the rice was very wet and did not have much of a taste. He said the onion rings that he did get were very good. He did get us more to drink but we had to ask for it. All in this time that we're eating the bartender never came back over. Finally after we were done eating he came over and asked us if we wanted the check. As he walked away he turned about a booth and a half away from us and asked if we wanted boxes. My boyfriend said no and the bartender made a very low comment under his breath to say oh well. So in general we like the food most of it but the service was absolutely horrible one of the worst that we've had in a long time.
Had high hopes. Disappointed. Overall, the French onion soup was good. Side salad was tiny. Problem was the Chicken Romano...sauce tasted like Elmer's glue mixed with some lemon juice. Had to send it back. Gentleman was very nice about situation. My girlfriend had the grilled pastrami...the one she makes at home is better. Our waitress was not very attentive... She had 8 tables to do by herself. She didn't ask if we wanted any dessert or anything else and just walked away after putting the check down. She was nice but didn't listen well. We won't be back.
Great experience and excellent food! We just moved to the area and added this restaurant to our list of places to try. It did not disappoint. The food is made with quality ingredients and great flavor. We had the french onion soup which tasted homemade. The zucchini planks were fresh out of the fryer and came with an aioli sauce that I couldn't get enough of. My sirloin steak was prepared to perfection. Wait staff was attentive. I know some people may complain about the price, so if you are only worried about price, this may not be the best place for you to go.
Food was great and the service was so quick, and so friendly. Definitely eat here if you have the chance!
Food was fast and great tasting. The owner came over and spoke to us. Very nice man and made us feel welcome. Going to have many experiences here to come
Very delicious. I had the chicken marsala it was excellent. The warm rolls are amazing. My husband loved the caramelized peppered bacon

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Peppermill restaurant last night with some friends of mine . I was greeted by the polite staff and we were seated right away. The waitress , Kelly was very attentive and helpful with the menu and recommended the grilled chili lime shrimp over pineapple rice. It was something different and delicious! I also loved the French onion soup and spinach artichoke appetizer before my meal. I finished with the chocolate mousse cake that was also delicious! I would recommend this restaurant for a nice dining experience in pleasant surroundings with cheerful staff !
Service was friendly, efficient, and polite. Diverse menu options at affordable prices. Food is always fantastic no matter what I order ! Excited to return and would definitely recommend .
Lovely bartender. Food was impressive. This is a real restaurant, unlike that garbage dump Double Wide. I also appreciated the 80s new wave they were playing. Something different.
The menu says a 12oz bone in pork chop but they try to pass off a 6oz boneless chop instead. Very disappointed. The baked sweet potato was about 3 inches long and over baked and shriveled. The salad was very small. Overall- very disappointing but tasty.
Myself and my business partner, Steve Zumoff own The Peppermill Restaurant . I truly enjoy chef Rob's food. He's particular, knows what he wants and creates classic and consistent dishes! When we decided to open The Peppermill we knew we wanted to offer both quality and value, not an easy task but we think we've accomplished this! We always strive to give more ! most of our menu is from scratch . We try to hire experienced workers to ensure quality service. We appreciate your support! Hope to see you soon!
