We had a few moments on Labor Day morning to take a break for breakfast, and my wife and family decided to try a café Italiano. We were net worth as the kindest hostess, who is also our waitress. She immediately got our drinks and helped us with suggestions from the menu. The food came quickly, and was amazing quality, all fresh ingredients I’m picking up a convection of a Waring, a level above anything I had for breakfast in the last six months. The owner came to say hello and spent some time talking with us about his menu and make sure our coffee was fresh and it was delicious! Everyone was very welcoming, and that made the amazing food even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back for breakfast and will be trying for lunch or dinner very soon!

My family wanted to have a relaxing breakfast on Labor Day and when we found that café Italiano was open we decided to give it a try. We were welcome by the delightful hostess, and she took our drink orders as we sat down. Amazing fresh pot of coffee was on the table for all four of us within moments. The coffee, from a local roaster was the perfect starter. Great selection for the breakfast menu and we were all able to find our breakfast favorites. All of our food was made with fresh ingredients and fantastic quality. The skillet I had included fresh mushrooms, potatoes, Italian, sausage, peppers, onions, and was topped by two over easy eggs. They were done perfectly. Everything was delicious and was prepared quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and the remainder of the menu looks great. My family decided to come back for dinner later this week.

This is the second time that I have ordered for pick up from Café Italiano in Jeanette. The first day I did was Mother’s Day. I ordered the French toast breakfast, and the French toast tasted like it was sour. I’m not really sure how to explain it all I know is it wasn’t good it was undercooked it was not done at all. The home fries were fresh and good and the bacon is cooked perfectly so my only complaint was the French toast was not good. Then I gave it another chance today and ordered a pancake breakfast and the pancakes tasted like a grilled cheese sandwich. I don’t know if maybe the batter has gone bad, but it was not good at all then my favorite part the potatoes were stale and old. And it just wasn’t my breakfast. It was my son’s breakfast too. I ordered two of these breakfasts and they both were terrible. Like they have been sitting under heat lamp for six hours. But once again, the bacon was good. I would like to continue to support this business because I am from the area but if they keep serving food like that they’re not gonna be there for long, which is a shame because I really like having a restaurant close to home.

When here for the first time for breakfast. Good selection of food. The bacon tasted very good not like the normal you would get at eat'n Park or something like that. Sausage was a thick round Patty tasted homemade very good also. Diner was very quiet only one other customer was there when we went in. The staff which was only two people seemed very nice. We didn't have any interaction with the cook just the gentleman taking our order and took our payment.

Judging from the very positive existing reviews, today must have been a bad luck day. It was lunchtime and I ordered a steak salad. When our food came, my salad, steak, fries and bread reeked and tasted of fish and I considered them inedible (not even commenting on the steak). Confronted, the manager (owner?) explained that fries and fish may have been fried in the same oil ... for practical reasons, and offered a $10 rebate on our $30 meal. We have accepted, and warned him of our upcoming negative review. It may just have been a bad day indeed, but we won't be back.

1st visit so I was unable to do a full review on just a breakfast order. Great encounter, service, and menu options overall. I give the new owners alot of credit considering this location sat empty for a number of years after the previous business closed when the owners retired. The interior looks the same and could be freshened up. However, I understand that a start -up business can be financially challenging and expenses are limited. Pleased to read the other positive reviews and community support this locally owned business received. Looking forward to giving the lunch menu a try. Limited hours of operation for now.

If you're looking for a great cafe you should definitely visit Cafe Italiano. I visited for breakfast and the food was delicious and of good value. The staff including the owner were friendly and attentive. Support local business and give them a try!

This place will definitely be top of my list next time I’m in Jeannette. I felt like I was being served by friends and family when I was there the staff was so friendly. plus you can tell all the food is homemade. I actually saw it before my own eyes when I saw them take all the ingredients for my salad and make it directly in front of me.. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which normally I wouldn’t get, but hearing that everything was homemade. and I guess when in Italiano! The noodles were great, I’d love to know where they purchase them from or if they make them in the house because you can tell they don’t come from a box. I also loved the meatballs they were moist and flavorful. my friend order the breakfast skillet and she said that she really enjoyed it and everything was fresh. I also really enjoyed sitting at the bar it gave it a diner, old-fashioned experience. Especially when I saw them start to make old fashion style milkshakes right at the bar too! I am so happy that I took the opportunity to stop in here. It’s great for breakfast and lunch. They are opened until about 230 I believe it’s open seven days a week! Also, I wanted to add that I never drink coffee black and I actually drink my coffee black here because it was delicious and freshly ground .. I didn’t order espresso but I saw they had a moka pot!
