I'm so upset. Yesterday was my husband's 50th Birthday. We have been wanting to try this place so bad, our food was awful! My Alaskan King Crab was overcooked and tasted like I was eating a salt shaker, my twice baked potato was cold and dry. My husband's filet tasted freezer burnt and he had the same complaint about his crab legs. Not to mention the entire bathroom hallway smelled like weed. $205 for a meal i could have made a heck of a lot better at home. They had 2 parties of 20 and i think they were more concerned about those tables than us and just let our food dry out under a heat lamp. It's a waste of money, you'll get better food from Red Lobster.

I'm so devastated to be changing my review on here . As we frequent The Nest for special occasions etc. We went here on October 17,2024 for my son's 18th birthday . We got him the 22 oz. Lobster tail. It came to the table RAW, clear, translucent. We had to send it back. My daughter and I had our dinners and sat there waiting and waiting for his food, not wanting to eat without him on his 18th birthday. He could have chose anywhere to go and he chose there. My daughter and I had to eat/nibble away at our dinner waiting. It took at least 15 minutes for his to come back out and it was hard as a rock. He did not even eat it. They never offered anything off of our bill or anything! I will say that our waitress was A GEM! She was very friendly, funny, nice etc. But his birthday dinner was ruined. I see that there's never any responses from the owner here on Google. Which also shows they really do not care about unhappy loyal customers.

The shrimp cocktail was amazing, while the lobster tails were clearly frozen and lacked any flavor.
Drinks and salad was great.
Unfortunately, we had the worst service we have experienced in recent memory. The waitress seemed to forget we were there and got every aspect of our order wrong then blamed the server helping her for the mistakes.
Very disappointed, as our last visit earlier this year was great.

Soft shelled crabs on a bed of deliciously prepared roasted zucchini was delicious as were all the other meals from our Norwin Teachers dinner group who have been together for more than 50 years! Food, Friendship, Fun!

Service was very slow, we waited 20 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Two other servers even stopped to ask if we had been taken care of yet but then nothing. The busser was at our table more than our waitress. For the price portions were fine but the lobster was super tough. Table of 6 sat down across from us and waited around 20 minutes to be acknowledgment as well then told “your server forgot about you so now I’m going to take care of you”. Being a waitress and working in the restaurant industry I get to see both sides of it and I personally wouldn’t have handled anything the way our waitress did.

you probably had this place recommended to you and I can see why. There’s nothing wrong with it. The prices are pretty high but over what you would find other places. My only issue Is they seat everyone in the same area of the dining room on slower nights instead of spreading them out, so now you’re all trying to talk over each other. The service could’ve been a little better and more attentive, but all in all it’s definitely worth stopping by and checking the place out. You may find that this is a spot you want to hit again so again check it out and grab a steak and lobster tail. Portions are good under the circumstances and so is The quality and they use butter so thats a big plus.
