Dinner served on paper plates with mediocre food. Way overpriced for the food.

I have heard nothing but great things about this place, so I finally went and gave it a try. I went on a Saturday with my boyfriend because we were celebrating our eighth year anniversary that day. I was so excited because everyone who I know that has eaten here raved about it. Well, I was a little disappointed ?. Calamari was just about the only great thing we ate. Our filet mignon was so tiny. I don't even think it was 6oz. Besides, it was small and really wasn't appetizing. You can tell it was broiled, and a filet mignon should not be broiled. The lobster tail was ok, nothing great. We did have dessert, and the NY cheesecake was good. At this time, we got our bill and put in a forty dollar tip for our waitress. She was only a few tables down from us serving her other table. She had asked another server to grab our book and bring it to her. I was watching and saw the other server hand it to our waitress. At that time, our waitress put the book down at the table she placed her to try on to hand out food to one of her tables. I had not seen what happened after this. All I know is our server came back and handed the book back with our card and asked what the twenty dollars was for. We said twenty? There should be another twenty in there for your tip. She said no, all there was is one single twenty dollar bill. My boyfriend was upset and asked the gentleman that was seating people where it went because she had handed him the book at one point. No one knew where it went, and so my boyfriend ended up giving her another twenty dollars. The gentleman seating people insisted he'd take care of it and personally take care of it. My boyfriend refused, and we personally wanted to make sure she got the tip she had in the first place before someone pocketed the one twenty. I honestly will not be going back. How does money disappear that quick when we were not far from her when it got handed to her. It made us look like we were giving her a crummy tip for how much our bill was, and that's something we never do when we go out. Something does not sit right with me. They definitely got out on us with an extra twenty by someone pocketing that first one. Extremely disappointed, I just wanted a nice anniversary dinner and for us to not have part of our tip go missing.

Fabulous as always. We had the Surf & Turf and it never disappoints. The service is also top-notch.

Called several times over a couple days. Keep getting message "your call cannot be completed as dialed"!The number listed appears to be incorrect! Was trying to make a reservation but will have to look elsewhere for our wedding aniversary.

I don't know if it's because it was a Valentine's Day menu but the food was not as good as the last few times I was there. The lobster wasn't very sweet and the steak was only Fair. The service was very good.

We live in FL and make sure we come to The Nest each time we are in this area. The lobster is beyond delicious. Last night we had the best waitress ever, Jacqueline. She was personable and made a great experience... spectacular!! She was so fun and efficient too. What a great personality, we will make sure we request Jacqueline every time we visit The Nest!! She helped us celebrate our Mom's #85 birthday! Do not miss this gem when you are in Jeanette PA????

If you want a gray lobster, go see Manny and his crew at the nest in Jeanette. The lobster is exquisite. Please see pictures below. The lobsters are huge. Best in the Pittsburgh area although not cheap the food is really good and the service is good. Try this place that you will love it.

My wife has been wanting to go here for many months now so we decided to go on our anniversary. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the hype that the other reviews and pictures give it. I got French onion soup that had about a spoon full of onions and my wife got the cream of crab soup which was mediocre. The escargot tasted very dirty and unseasoned. For our main courses I ordered a medium rare rib-eye that I had to send back twice since the first time it was medium well and the second time it was very rare. It was also very bland and unseasoned. My wife got crab legs which were fine, but it's hard to mess those up. For our sides we both got "crispy" brussel sprouts and twice baked potatoes. The potatoes were very dry and bland and the "crispy" brussel sprouts where under done and very soggy, not a hint of crisp or color on any of them. They were also bland. The only saving grace for this place was the incredible service, despite the fact that the servers make the mixed drinks which resulted in a banana martini with chocolate sauce on the outside of the glass. With that being said, we will not be returning for a $200 bill that was greatly disappointing eating experience.
