Been having issues past month or two. Making sandwiches wrong, getting attitude from works when asked to correct the error. Today my wide brought my kids in and after selling them food then said they were out of plane bagels.. after the finally getting a refund and keeping the tip on the card of course. We spent like 10 dollars on over priced drinks plus 3 dollar tip with no food. We used to go every day off and every Sunday for couple years now. It may be time for a new bagel shop.

The place is run down and dirty, the food is over priced, prices of certain items are not posted even though it is required by law, the staff has has no proper customer service experience as they tend to demonstrate an entitlement mentality and bad attitude, the wait is long for no reason whatsoever, finally when their overpriced and long awaited order is ready they rattle though the entire order no one can hear well instead of loudly calling out the order number. At the end when you pick up the order the staff insults you by lecturing and scolding you. Keep up the "good" work! We are local and we used to come to your place but this was the last time! Your over priced product should not come with a sprinkle of insult!

I don't often have the opportunity to get breakfast out, so when I do it's nice to be able to support a local establishment. This being said, this is the second time I've been disappointed by fill a bagel recently. I understand that inflation is especially difficult for small businesses, but today I spent $7 on a bagel with cream cheese that was so small I was still hungry when I finished. Not only would that price outrageous for a good sized bagel, but the size of the bagel was so small I couldn't believe it. The location is great and I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff but the quality of the food has really gone down in the last few years and the prices have only gone up. Where do they get off charging $18 for a tiny lox bagel when one can yet a whole pound of lox at costco for the same price? Frustrated that I can't afford to indulge here any longer.

Update- Christmas 2023Just got back from Fill A Bagel again. Got a dozen egg bagels. Service, as usual, was good. However, the egg bagels are still anemic looking and tasting. Closer to plain bagel than the egg bagels they used to sell. Don’t know what’s going on.***********Thanksgiving 2023I have been going to Fill A Bagel in Jenkintown for many years to a get dozen their egg bagels. Until recently (last 6 months or so) always the best egg bagels around. Their quality and freshness were always great. However, it appears something has changed. On two occasions this year I believe I received some day old bagels. And, Just this past Monday the egg bagels looked anemic and tasted like they were missing eggs. Don’t know what’s going on.

I hate to be giving Fill a Bagel a 2 star I have been going to this bagel shop since I was a kid management was good and good workers I reside in Philly now and when I'm in jenkintown I'll stop by fill a bagel I was there on Sunday of this week cash registers are not welcoming slight additude it was crowded and right away I overheard upset customers with wrong orders there seem to be alot of confusion going on in the bagel making section . They called out my order and it was wrong the person that called out my order could have quickly remade it correctly , I sat and waited and chatted with a upset customer they called out my order again and it was wrong yes there finally remade it after 20 min I cannot begin to express how down that place went after many years going there management and the workers .

I love Fill A Bagel! But recently every single time I come to this establishment, they have been out of multiple things. How are you out of Plain bagels at 10:30 am? not to mention out of almost all of the other popular flavors too, Plain is one flavor that should never run out! Also, they take orders not knowing the flavors run out so they have to around and tell the multiple customers they are out of the flavors after they already have paid for them. It also is too many people back there, so that leads to miscommunication and confusion.

My family and I went here on Sunday on a complete whim! When we arrived, the line was out the door. We ordered the avacado toast, the burrito & a honey bun. My son devoured the honey bun… because well why not? After waiting some time for our food, because obviously their reputation is incredible we received our food. Although, our food wasn’t to our liking, the atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly. When reaching out to Vicki, she felt terrible about our experience and was more then generous with compensating us. We will definetely be back to Fill A Bagel and look forward to being apart of the bagel community!!
