just from my experience there the manager angel just seemed very sexist towards women from the things he was saying and he also asked for my cousins (16) number. that just gave me weird vibes. I also heard him being very passive aggressive towards his employees i do not understand what that was about

Just say yes and when you get there you have to order the Brussels sprouts! They are a chef's kiss! The flavor of the apples and onions blend incredibly well and they are the best I have ever had and I order Brussels everywhere. I just about danced with every bite. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is great for a date night or just to watch the game. If you enjoy a bit of spice with your savory and sweet, order the schnitzel waffle and add a bit of hot sauce. You won't regret it.

Went for the first time on a weeknight. Not busy a busy evening. Ordered the Jaeger schnitzel. Comes out as an open face sandwich. A single piece of chicken, about palm size. Served over a hamburger bun. Smothered in mushroom gravy. Minimally, it should have been at least a big enough piece of chicken to cover both pieces of bun or serve it with two palm size patties. Also note the chicken was dry. Seems almost incongruous. Came with French fries that were pretty decent.Pretzel bites reminded me of something you would buy a bucket of at Aunt Annie's. If that's your jam, great. But didn't care for them.Cheese curds, however, were solid. Saving grace. Period.Beer was awesome. But don't need the bartender to remind me of the alcohol content when I go up for a second beer. Seemed like an odd thing for them to mention. The venue is cool and may give it a try on a different evening. Perhaps I just hit it on and off night

Like a diamond in the rough, Herman's at the Haus is a gem in the borough of Jenkintown. Their German-American themed menu is superb. Pair that with a handsome brew by Human Robot, the brewery in same building! By scanning a QR code with your phone, you have access to their online menu and place your order that way with payment. While enjoying your brew or company, the food runner will greet you by name on receipt with food. They recently updated their menu with new food items and, did I mention they provide brunch during the weekend? Music included*. It is being in the same building as Human Robot: Jenkintown that allows the overall atmosphere to be spacious and laidback. From high-tops to booths and then tables with - with a second floor available, the seating options are practically for everyone. Including seating at the bar.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are available upon request while placing order online via scanning QR code.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that rises from the side walk to entrance.

Great beers and service. Food is also great but needs to be ordered by phone. We usually go to the bar, but there is plenty of seating and booths also.

Definitely one of the best places to go in the Abington area. The sauces go CRAZY. The schnitzel, brunch sandos, cheese curds, wings, fries, Brussel sprouts!!! Heavenly.I love the sandwich shop in the Philly Human Robot, Poe’s. I was so excited to see what food collab would be happening when I heard a Human Robot was popping up near me. Herman’s did not disappoint!Personally, I really enjoy the QR ordering. You order what you want when you want it, and don’t need to track anyone down to do so. If you need something like silverware, ask them when they bring you your food and they will get it. It’s not rocket science. If you’re looking for a place to eat where you can bully wait staff, go to Applebees down the road.
I was really impressed with my experience here at Herman's at the Haus. The food was impeccable and delicious, and even though I made a human error in ordering (done via QR code/phone, where I thought I clicked a box that I didn't), they were kind enough to remake the dish even though they absolutely did not have to do so. That made a huge difference in my experience, because I wouldn't have been able to eat the dish without the modification. That sort of customer service in the face of customer error is completely unexpected but totally appreciated.

Very solid brewpub. The bartenders were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was good. I wished I had an appetite before coming here, as the food options looked very tempting. My favorite drink of the night was the Rouge et Mosaique French Style IPA. It has a nice tartness to it with the subtle hint of the classic IPA.

Please cook the Beyond burger longer. It seems like you're trying to cook it "medium" like actual beef, but it isn't heating all the way through. This is the 2nd time I ordered this burger and it came out almost cold. The patty simply is not being left on the grill long enough. It's an otherwise tasty sandwich that ends up being disappointing. No one wants to pay to eat a lukewarm/almost cold burger. I shouldn't have to go home to heat it up. Even the cheese should be more melted than it is, but the burger isn't hot enough to keep it warm so it somewhat solidifies by the time it comes out. That's really unacceptable for $16.
