We would grab a mister Rick’s Italian whenever in the area and thought these were the best hoagies. However the last two visits the rolls were stale and hard, not sure what’s going on with this place!

Mr. Ricks has the best hoagies in this area. The Italian is perfect with fresh seeded bun and fine ingredients. Many seriously spicy variations including spicy Italian, Buffalo, and Creole. Very consistent and reliable, every order correct. Good variety of alternatives like chicken breast, pastrami, tuna etc.

This place gets five stars just for their sub, The Chi! I’m sure the other stuff is good, but I cannot not get The Chi. The giardiniera spread speaks to me! I’ve had friends who do not like roast beef love it. So definitely give it a try.

Searching for a hoagie around Jenkintown was somewhat difficult. On a back street I stumbled on Mister Ricks hoagies. It is a small take out place although there are a few tables on the sidewalk. I got the Sharp Italian hot which included Genoa salami soppresta prosciutto sharp provolone long hots lot and oil. At $12 it was pretty large and used a Luscios seeded roll. The ingredients were thinly cut but a little on the bland side. Bottom line - large sandwich for the money but a little short on taste.
