Pizza Wheel by West Avenue Grille

Their menu sounds amazing!! I've had good sandwiches there, and zucchini fries were fine. But the pizza is just so-so. And it's definitely because of the dough!!! It tastes cheap or like it's not homemade and there's a little grid pattern on the bottom of the slice. But it's advertised as brick oven and maybe it is, but when I have had brick oven pizza it's crispy and has that nice char taste. Idk what's going on but there's just too many delicious ideas to waste them on cheap dough. And definitely overpriced for the quality of the pizza.

They have improved so much from the time they first opened! The cheesesteak is amazing and so if the crispy eggplant . The pizza can be inconsistent when getting it to go but when you eat it fresh and hot at the table it's always been delicious. I still ask for it well done to make sure it's crispy.

So the counter person there needs to get a hearing aid or hearing checked because I was there twice to different times and days. First time there the girl was perfect, I got my order exactly what I ordered. The second and third time I got this guy, I always get the same thing The Don Cheesesteak without onions and Mozzarella Cheese Fries. First time it was perfect! 2nd time I went I ordered the same thing and I got the Cheesesteak but with onions which said no onions and I ordered Mozzarella Cheese Fries, but no cheese, I got straight up plain fries! The third time I got the Cheesesteak and no onions, which was correct and ordered Mozzarella Cheese Fries and he gave me those Mozzarella Cheese triangles but no fries! That upset me because That’s 2 out of 3 times I got my order wrong! For what you guys charge and it’s a lot of money, I think you are overpriced, I expect orders to be perfect. Bella’s down the street from you are a bit cheaper and they get my order right every time! Your counter guy needs to listen and put the order in correctly. Twice he done this to me, if I see him I might just turn around and walk out and go somewhere else.

The last two times I have ordered takeout pizza it has been really disappointing. Its dried out even when I asked for extra sauce. Maybe ingredients used have changed, but it's definitely not the same quality of pizza. I've been ordering since Pizza Wheel opened, and have noticed this unfortunate change. I can no longer support this local business.

I had terrible experience here. The food portions were very small and the service was not the best. I highly recommend not to go to this restaurant. They were trying to get us in and out and felt rushed the whole time. I will not be going back.

This was my second visit here. The food is very good and I highly recommend it. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food but trust me it's good.

Although the pictures look good, the quality of the pizza and sides were not as expected... The truffle fries were $12- they gave us a couple of fries and could barely spare any truffle or parsley at least to make it presentable. The sandwiches were good but a little on the dryer side

The double sandwich could have used more chicken. I got 1 chicken finger per side. So much for a cutlet. Otherwise, food was good.

All three times I visited it wasn’t particularly busy. Took about 20 minutes for someone to offer us a beverage. Someone walked in after us and ordered take out which they ended up sitting inside and eating and their food was served before us even though we had been there awhile. The food is great. But something is missing

Pizza quality has really gone down hill the last few times we ordered. Spent $25 tonight on a burned dry pizza with barely and cheese.

If I wanted overcooked dried pizza I would have taken an uber to Angelo's cause the uber would've been cheaper then the $60 bill for one large and one small

I like all of the food here except for the pizza. I had a greek salad that was great. Sandwiches are good and kids liked the chicken fingers and fries.
